Shining Vale
Don’t get hysterical.
A dysfunctional family moves from the city to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for Patricia “Pat” Phelps, who’s convinced she’s either depressed or possessed – turns out, the symptoms are exactly the same.

Another bad series. I decided to check this out even though I knew it was cancelled after 2 seasons. Supposedly a dark comedy horror fantasy series this fails at all of them. The acting is average, but all the characters are unlikable or annoying. Nobody acts or talks like these people do. The daughter who is supposed to be in high school is clearly played by an actress in her 20's. While I don't care or get offended by swearing in movies there is a point where it's just ridiculous and over the top distracting. There are so many F bombs as well as everything else in this it's just silly. The wife randomly bangs the younger handyman in the kitchen and 3 months later the husband is acting like nothing big happened and is pretty much begging her to have sex with him. I mean
really, 3 months and they kind of treat it like a running joke around the house. The humor is weird and never funny, the so called 'horror' consists of jump scares and loud noises. The cinematography and camera angles look like a cheap CW show. Actually now that I think about it other then the language it's all very tame and
PG-13. I made it through 2 episodes and that was enough. It may get more woke as it goes on but in that time the only woke I really saw was maybe some DEI in secondary characters, the cuck husband and the next door neighbors are Asian and the daughter immediately goes after the Asian son. I'm actually surprised this made it a second season before getting dumped.
