Stuck in a small Appalachian town, a young woman’s only escape from the daily grind is playing advanced video games. She is such a good player that a company sends her a new video game system to test…but it has a surprise in store. It unlocks all of her dreams of finding a purpose, romance, and glamour in what seems like a game…but it also puts her and her family in real danger.

So woke it’s almost funny
It’s a special sort of woke when the women playing the all most powerful characters are directed to play their parts as so high status that they just come across as laughably arch.

Almost bought in to the series
I was enjoying this series until episode 6 when I saw they cast a transvestite dude as a chief detective. Babylon is burring.

VERY GOOD SHOW WITH ONE WOKE SCENE
I really loved this show. Great SiFi with complex ideas. There is one lesbian scene, but the show is so good I may recommend it anyways. Many strong male leads beside the lead female.
