I knew before hand this was only 1 season before it was cancelled it just sounded interesting enough to give a chance. An alternate future
sci-fi 1950's where con men sell time shares and property on the moon. In the 2 episodes I watched it's never actually explained if this is even
a thing in this universe or not. It doesn't really make much sense, if it is a thing why would you need to sell people on the idea and everyone
would know how expensive it would be, if it's not a thing then why would anyone believe it in the first place. You would think after scamming this many people in so many towns everyone would know who this scam company is, they use the exact same company name everywhere they go. The first episode sets up a very interesting retro Jetsons style 1950's but then it doesn't do anything with it. There doesn't seem to be much of a story, it just drags out in family dynamic melodrama. Slogging through 2 slow moving episodes just wasn't enough to keep going. It's a real shame as this is a great setup for a sci-fi show, just put some thought into some kind of story. The acting is good and there is some ok humor. It's not even that it's a bad show it's just so directionless and dull. The only woke I saw in those 2 episodes was way, way to much DEI overrepresentation for 1950's America. Given the cancellation after 1 season there's no real reason to watch.
