Minor woke, but late in the series
South Park begins by taking punches at everything on the whole spectrum of offensiveness, taking no prisoners and proving fun laughs for all. But in the last five years, after the creators made their millions, certain topics and races become off limits, and heavy political bias is flouted. By this time, the creators have nothing to lose, so they obviously don't care anymore.
That said, the series is iconic, and worth a watch. Just start at the beginning to get the good stuff before it went woke.

Is it woke or does it make fun of wokeness?
That is the question. I think it makes fun of wokeness far more than not. It does so quite well too. No one is spared, ultimately. The only problem it has is that it doesn't cover the things that really need satire, such as medical tyranny -- or did they do that? I know they skewered transgenderism -- which was good. Someone needed to.

Not woke
Yes they make fun of conservatives and Christians, but they also made fun of liberals and progressives.. no one is safe with South Park and that’s what makes them so great.. they never bow down to the mob about anything, they have had episodes pulled because they were too “offensive” like when they wanted to show a Muhammad character.. it’s literally banned on Comedy Central and most streaming platforms. Recently they have actually made fun of wokeism and the progressive movement and “safe spaces”. They have also torn apart the trans ideology and modern feminism.. any rating suggesting South Park is even remotely woke has to do with their cognitive function or they’re just mad that they make fun of trump too (like I said, no one is safe) although it would be nice to see more hits on Biden than trump (& rightfully so)

Best of it's genre. Love that it pokes fun at everyone. Irreverent, and it's a win just for that in this cancel heavy world.

Nonstop crybaby meltdown
Sorry guys, but this show stopped being the whole “I make fun of absolutely everyone and I’m not on either side” thing and instead took the mask off and showed how left-wing they really are. And that’s been the case ever since Trump took office again. Clearly DOGE cut off some funding stream that was being funneled to them or their buddies and hit a nerve, so now all they do is whine about it.
They had some solid moments back when they weren’t taking sides and managed to create a few iconic episodes in pop culture, but the last season has become repetitive and extremely left-wing. To the point where some lines literally go, “well, woke wasn’t that bad,” and they even devoted an entire episode to Cartman being depressed because “woke” was dead, constantly pandering to what’s left of their audience: a bunch of whiny little leftists desperate for attention
