Evil white people
Seems like a general, normal drama series. It's rather slow and somewhat boring, but that's a matter of preference. There's a little woke in the only member of the family who is a successful, educated, perfect mary-sue lawyer being the girl, but she's not that much of an annoying character.
Any minor character who is a white person is portrayed as white trash, a hick, and a racist. They're few and far between, but they stick out like woke sore thumbs.

Interesting character study
This is part character study of a well off family with many secrets they're fighting to keep buried and partly a slow boiling thriller . The first season is the most suspenseful but I found their unraveling over the course of the show pretty intriguing and not boring at all. .
There's really nothing here that should qualify as woke.
The last season did get a bit rushed as they wanted to end the show early since they'd lost permission to film in that location ..
