Sexualizes Kids in a Kids Movie
My biggest problem with the film is the disturbing fact that it sexualizes the 12 year old protagonist in a film for kids. Especially the awful tweking scene. Or the jokes paralleling panda-ing to being a stripper.
I understand that girls go through puberty at that age, but I think it's best for parents to teach their kids themselves at an age appropriate level rather than have it in a mainstream kids movie. And some of it imo even went too far. (I can understand the period scene as it wasn't graphic, and that's basic female puberty edu; but not the above mentioned stuff.)
Of course, there's also the usual Current Year™️ virtue signaling/ identity politics: such as the token gay boy and the LGBT flags. And the "My panda my choice" line.

Ignore the Trolls
Ignore the trolls claiming this film is super woke. It is not, there's no identity politics. The movie does have a very evil white villain, but also other white people that are positively portrayed. And it never even implies whiteness as being bad.
It's an amazing movie, with pretty visuals, well-developed characters, and funny jokes.
The only downside is the film is too dark and violent for little kids, so I recommend it for older kids (8-10+ depending on the child).

Non-Woke Alternative to Modern Pixar
Brought to you by many former Pixar employees, including John Lasseter (and even a John Ratzenberger cameo) in a new studio (Skydance Animation). It's a fun wholesome movie about how life doesn't have to be perfect. It's not woke, unlike the very woke recent Pixar films (ie, Lightyear, Turning Red). There's no identity politics in the film itself.
The only thing possiblely woke is some of the cast that are very woke irl (Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg), but I usually separate the actors from the characters and this is no exception.
