A genuine masterpiece
This is my favourite TV show now! Zero wokeness in it and brings the New Testament to life. Even if you are not a Christian it provides an educational and well-written account of the times of Jesus, whilst being entertaining at the same time.
They make it clear it is an interpretation so they have 'filled in the gaps' in some areas and added some back stories to characters which helps you get more invested in character development. It's a window into what it could have been like (through the lens of the English speaking world) and they follow the biblical stories very closely and accurately. They also encourage you to read the gospels for yourself which is great advice.
Overall, it is truly a joy to watch a show that inspires me and to be immersed in a world due to the fantastic writing- an increasing rareness these days!

The greatest trilogy of all time
I was 8 years old when I first saw this film and my life changed. Ever since then, I have been obsessed with Tolkien's works and these films. Sometimes, a super rare event happens where all the stars align and pure excellence is crafted making it feel like it came from above. Such events happened for these films where technology was good enough to build something that is timeless, the actors seemingly being destined to play their parts, and the lack of political sewerage spewing across culture to corrupt the writing process.
There will never be a trilogy so great again as to match these films and every day I count myself lucky I get to sit down and enjoy this masterpiece time and time again.
I particularly like The Fellowship of the Ring as it sets Tolkien's world perfectly making you feel nostalgic for a place you have never physically been to. The fact you can get a degree in Tolkien's works shows how rich this world is.

Surprisingly refreshing film considering Disney's descent into oblivion
Disney have been putting out some awful shows and films recently, but one for me that bucked that trend was this movie. I found it refreshing to explore a superhero that traverses across West to East as I enjoy the juxtaposition of those two cultures.
Katy's character is pretty good considering the actress can be very annoying in real life. I can't help but wonder a girl-best friend is to give some female representation, but that doesn't really bother me as she's not automatically a badass for no reason like some newer films treat female characters, so no complaints there. The most woke element is the 1-dimensional sister character who's girl-bossed her own way to the top of her empire on her own with no man helping her. Her character is unlikeable and seems uptight and as a viewer, I don't particularly care about her.
The woke elements are easy to overlook in this film making it mildly woke for me.

A great story that engages the viewer's emotions
I like this film as it shows how a family unit can bond despite the family suffering a tragedy. There's a plot twist at the end that makes you view the whole story in a different way which is great writing.
There are elements of wokeness with the Manticore discovering her true warrior and the mum and the Manticore having their own girl boss adventure which feels a bit unnecessary. There's also an obvious insert of representation with the lesbian female cop which knowing her sexuality does nothing to advance the plot, so why do it? However, the good writing and focus on the main storyline overshadow these politically correct moments.

Great action film with a unique plot
Every minute of this film is used to keep the viewer engaged and to advance the plot. I think this is one of the most quotable films I have watched as some of the lines are hilarious!
There's some mild wokeness that crops up with the police's official vocabulary guidelines in trying to 'police' people's language to be more inclusive, but the film doesn't major on this and it is minor.
Overall, definitely worth a watch.
