The Dawn of Woke Agendas

This movie is probably the one that started it all. Politicians latched on to a sound bite about the potential for global warming and elevated it into an impending global catastrophe.

The result has been over 20 years of bad policy and government overreach along with the silence of many scientific voices that countered this wrong and dangerous narrative.

Al Gore told us all in this film that whole states like Florida would be under water because of the polar ice caps melting.

It’s a true failure of a film when held up against the test of time, as none of the predictions and claims made amounted to any sort of meaningful culmination.

Classic Holiday Film, no wokeness

This is one of the great classic holiday films. It has a pretty typical trope “road trip of strangers culminates in disaster, but they ultimately make it home and discover themselves in the process”

It was made in a time before wokeness, so woke free!

Nostalgic, without being hokey, not woke

Sequels are a really tough animal, especially for such an iconic film as A Christmas Story. I thought they did a really great job of bringing back some of the original humor while also telling a somewhat new story.

I have to admit that I was somewhat emotional at the end of the movie, which is what you want in a great Christmas movie.

Giving this 5/5 Overall, and I could not detect even a hint of wokeness. Just good wholesome holiday Christmas Story fun.

Good holiday film, not woke

This was a good holiday film rooted in good values about friendship and family. Kat Graham always brings a good performance, and this filmed seemed to buck the typical Hallmark trend of having such a formulaic story.

4/5 overall with no wokeness detected.

Weird Al to the core, not woke!

This was an amazing biopic. I was taken back to the nostalgia of when I saw UHF for the first time.. everything is so over the top and hilarious, I highly recommend watching this film!

Decent, not woke

As far as hallmark style Christmas movies go, this was actually not too bad.. Your typical up-tight city girl meets a small town hick guy at Christmas time and finds herself and they fall in love, lol.

Lindsay Lohan was a bit painful to watch in this though, as her acting skills have not aged well. She just wasn't very convincing and emotional as a leading lady should be.

Decent, minimal wokeness

This was a decent movie, I couldn’t detect any wokeness.. Not an amazing film by any stretch, but a decent time waster

I mean, it’s ok…

It was a somewhat enjoyable film, minimal wokeness. It did have your typical modern hookup culture vibe to it, but I was happy to see the story resolved to “being in a committed long term relationship is a good thing”

Ok movie, barely any wokeness

This was an OK halloween movie. It does contain more edgy satanic ritualistic content, so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd pass on this.

There is a joke about how the black family is moving to small town America which "smells a bit like white privilege" but that was the only blatant jab in the film.

The rest of the plot is your typical "Parents are incompetent idiots who need to be rescued by the genius of 14 year old middle schoolers"

Ok overall, but not great. Not woke at least

I’ll start by saying for this series I read the books first, so my review is somewhat tainted.

The movie itself was entertaining, and the plot was very similar to the Divergent book 1. However, you could immediately tell that the producers/director decided to take a much more futuristic aesthetic to stack this film against comparable titles like The Hunger Games. The books were more gritty. You got a sense that the world was just a continuation of an already broken society. The movie, however, paints the world as much more technologically advanced.

Like most other movie adaptations of novels, there were very obvious omissions of key plot points, and the plot was even completely “divergent” from the book in many ways.

Overall, I’d say this movie was enjoyable, no wokeness detected. It’s a great series to binge on a weekend.
