Awake not Woke!

Nothing woke. This is a terrible movie. The acting is truly awful but the beginning with the 'Cherry" actress is really a new low in acting. She is so bad it's actually painful to watch. It's standard slasher movie cliches with nothing new. The killer is a generic slasher monster as is the the story. Even the kills are boring and not worth watching it for. No scares, no gore just boredom.

Thanks, 45Trump47 for the spoiler. Too bad I thought it was a joke. Anyhow, I made it about 45 minutes into this film and it's really not for me. And I distrust Hollywood when it comes to Catholic films since we all know how the libs feel about God and religion. I did sense a bit of Catholic bashing in the short time I watched. And Wikipedia tells me he is a hermaphrodite. An odd and relatively stupid plot point for me. They should have made him a fuzzy.

Black shaved head female head of assassins. Way to much DEI non white characters for 83% white UK. These movies have been done many time before by now. The aging hitman who doesn't want to retire. There is nothing new here but it's not particularly bad either. The acting is ok and the writing and action scenes are average. Waltz while a good actor is a bit miscast in the role but it's not terrible other than the ridiculous idea that a 70 year old can repeatedly go to a club and take multiple 20 something women home all the time. Still you could do worse than this movie.

Another Amateur No Budget Zombie Movie

I noticed nothing woke. While the story is average and nothing new it could of been a decent zombie movie. However the acting, dialog and writing is awful. The zombie FX are weak, the actors clearly don't know anything about firearms. There is terrible looking excessive muzzzle flash added to every gunshot. Characters are constantly chambering rounds right before firing the gun meaning they are walking around with unloaded weapons all the time. The fight choreography is bad. Somehow vehicles are operating and running perfectly fine 10 years into the apocalypse even though gas and batteries would never be good for that long. Lead actress is supposed to be in her teens but is clearly not.
