DEI wins again!

Y'all can relax. They got one each: a white one, a black one and a middle eastern one! They're checking DEI boxes left and right on this one. And get ready for a heaping dose of girl-bossin'.

Can you guess who the evil ones will be? If you guessed hetero, rich, white males straight out of the 1% patriarchy, you win!

Of course the black one is a thick, sassy, well-spoken, female FBI agent sporting a Harvard jersey in her free time. That'll track well with black audiences. She looks more like a woman who should be running her own Motown bakery. She's also sporting about 7 piercings in each ear, you know, just like how all hetero female FBI agents do. Enjoy her in the chunky-hipped, Afro-clad yet ineffectual tactical weapons scenes.

They went ahead and made the FBI deputy director black, too. They say FBI leadership lacks diversity in real life but it ain't happening. Until then we'll resort to race-swapping. While you're at it, why not sex-swap and make the President of the United States a woman who's spoiled rotten son is the Lex Luthor of phone scammers.

The beekeeper pro-assassin they send to dispatch The Beekeeper is a super-long pony-tailed caricature of a bad ass, martial arts chick right out of street fighter; She lasts about 3 punches which was the only realistic part of the film. Hilarious! To further suspend reality, the FBI special reaction team, led by an Asian beta-male, is worthless. The hardened SEAL team and Delta Force mercenaries who apparently would miss the sky if they fired upwards, bungle his capture. Towards the end, some wacky, cowboy Kiwi mercenaries enter the scene to hilarious effect.

In the end, evil whitey is punished and even though The Beekeeper drops about 30 bodies, this movie can't decide if it's a light romp or a serious action. And if it can't take itself seriously, neither can I.

DEI still ruining movies

Love Jason Statham. Did great to make this woke movie watchable!
Try to fast forward the woke scenes of the DEI female black FBI agent with multiple lesbo ear piercings and her middle Eastern colleague. Boxes had to be ticked I guess
US President female basically summed it up

The best Jason Statham movie ever

I don't get why everyone here says it's woke. Sure, there was a bunch of DEI bullshit casting, but I didn't mind it. The action was phenomenal, the story was surprisingly emotional, and David Ayer went crazy with this movie. When I watch a movie, I don't pay attention to the wokeness unless it's literally unwatchable. This movie is a must watch if you are a fan of Jason Statham.

Let's start with the white dude screaming: "money! money! money!". Lampman is a sexy cop chasing down Jason "The Beekeeper" Statham. Good thing she's the most intelligent black woman on the case, ever. Her and all the lacky white FBI (CIA? Who cares?) dudes-- about as smart as a tomato those whites, and, of course, all the blacks and women heading up the FBI, CIA, presidency and I'd say, the universal council of the universe will crack the case. It's just so transparent DEI that it makes me want to puke.

Thank God Statham kicks ass or this would be a complete waste. Not that it isn't a waste.

Will there be a sequel?

Overly DIE casting, some terrible casting. Would be a 3/5 woke for beyond token black characters, but reduced to 2/5 since it's not "super woke" as there were no woke themes.

Complete Woke Garbage!

When I saw all the news articles everywhere praising how great this movie is I knew it was going to be woke but I wasn't
prepared for how awful in general this is. So much DEI everywhere. The body positive 70's afro sporting badly miscast FBI agent who is openly rascist and just an all around despicable person. The typical Hollywood feminist aggressive, hateful, violent. The call center is of course mostly white and run by a rich white beta coward of a man. The real boss if some comically absurd white male one percenter who rides a skateboard around and generally dresses and acts like an 80's reject. This is all in the 40 minutes I could stand of this pile of garbage. The acting is just terrible especially the FBI agent. The dialog and writing in general are laugh out loud bad. This scam center has been around
for a long time and everyone including the FBI has been trying to find them but can't, he literally makes on call to his magic female friend and she finds them instantly. Things just seem to magically happen in this movie for no reason and make no sense whatsoever. The action scenes aren't even that great either, very basic. This is just another brainless,
stupid mind-numbing film for the idiotic gen z to consume.

So woke I walked out halfway and refunded my ticket

It's smashing all the gender stereotypes! The strong independent gun of an FBI agent random black woman one. Who has a drinking problem and the same personality as a bloke from an 80s cop movie.

She has to briefly check in with her FBI partner while being the workaholic that she is. When he answers the phone of course he's nursing a baby because this movie is smashing down those gender stereotypes!!

The current beekeeper is brought in to try to reign in an out of control Jason Statham. Of course, she's another black woman? that looks like she is on break from a school drag show.

I walked out and refunded my ticket. This was one of the wokest movies I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

Do not see this movie. Even for Statham.

Two-hour corporate DEI training session

The Beekeeper is less a film and more of a DEI training session, masquerading as an action flick. Let's break it down:

Plot? What Plot? Jason Statham punches his way through a woke fever dream where every casting choice screams "we're not like other movies!" Got your checklist? We've got a black, fat, racist, Harvard-jersey-wearing FBI agent, and her partner, a Middle Eastern counterpart rounding out the diversity flavor-of-the-week.

Villains? Straight Outta Stereotype Land! Surprise, surprise: evil whitey strikes again. Rich, male, hetero, and cartoonishly out-of-touch. If you guessed the bad guy would be plotting world domination, congrats -- you’ve unlocked Hollywood's least subtle trope.

Action? Meh. Statham tries to salvage the film by doing what he does best: punching, kicking, and grunting his way through terrible dialogue. But not even his roundhouse kicks can save scenes like the martial-arts girl-boss who lasts all of three punches. Realism achieved!

Tone? Pick One! Is it a gritty revenge tale? A buddy-cop comedy? A political satire? Even the filmmakers don’t know. The movie swerves so hard between "serious" and "quirky" that it gives viewers whiplash.

Even reviews are divided Like a Thanksgiving Dinner Debate. Some hate it for being woke, some love it for the Statham-factor, and others… just walked out. No middle ground here, either.

Oh, and let’s not forget the pièce de résistance: the horrible, unbearable, cringy acting of the FBI agent -- played by a body-positive, Afro-wearing caricature who seems more suited to a reality TV baking showdown than a tactical raid. Her delivery is so stiff and overacted you’d think she was performing in a middle school play about FBI diversity hiring. Every line she utters feels like it was lifted straight from a DEI brochure, read with all the charisma of a DMV worker on her third shift. If the goal was to make her unlikable and utterly unconvincing, mission accomplished! It doesn’t help that the script clearly gave up on her, too, shoving her into clunky “empowerment” moments that feel about as natural as a dog walking on its hind legs. Add in the tactical scenes, where she’s decked out in gear that looks more party rental than FBI issue, and you’ve got yourself a character so laughably miscast it almost feels like a parody. Almost.

The real punchline here? She’s meant to be the moral compass, the anchor of competence in this circus. Instead, she’s the personification of Hollywood’s obsession with virtue-signaling — and an unforgettable reminder that cringe, when combined with bad acting, becomes an assault on the audience's senses.

Verdict: The real villain isn’t rich white patriarchy—it’s Hollywood’s relentless pandering. If you’re here for the action, bring earplugs for the dialogue and a blindfold for the cringe-worthy stereotypes. Otherwise, skip the popcorn and re-watch The Transporter.
