Way back before woke was invented
Almost a caricature of old-timey films, this James Stewart film features super analog tricks, a corny and simple script, but a fun premise and some remarkable acting by Doris Day. Not a shred of woke in sight!

Good old love story
For people who love literary stories with lots of obscure references and fancy academic terms, this love story is for you. It starts out somewhat goofy, but balances out well throughout. There are references to characters that glorify communism, but they're passed off as jokes, so even what would be an unbearable character today comes off as cute and sassy. Otherwise no political jokes, no forced diversity, no LGBT stuff, no pedophilia, no woke.

Based on a real and ingenious heist. Not woke.
The script is captivating and the acting is good. It is not excellent but it is very good; with suspenseful and funny moments too.
Based on a real heist - that took place in Argentina in 2005.
No wokeness.

Funny and crude action comedy. Woke free!
This remake of the original one has 2 great leading actors and charismatic characters like Ice Cube that make the movie funny and hilarious.
Not woke!

Ok movie, barely any wokeness
This was an OK halloween movie. It does contain more edgy satanic ritualistic content, so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd pass on this.
There is a joke about how the black family is moving to small town America which "smells a bit like white privilege" but that was the only blatant jab in the film.
The rest of the plot is your typical "Parents are incompetent idiots who need to be rescued by the genius of 14 year old middle schoolers"

The women are all awesome and 'good' while the men are 'evil' or buffoons (except for the super helpful black guy who provides Natasha with weaponry, of course). If there were 'evil' women, it was due to the mind-controlling influence of men. Typical Hollywood messaging.

They race-swapped Liz Allan, Flash Thompson, The Shocker, MJ, and Ned Leeds!!
There's a mention of slavery as well...unnecessary in a Spider-Man movie
Way too much race swapping

Great show overall except for the silly, inorganic, tacked on last scene which shows Korra and Asami holding hands in a lesbian display. Strange considering both characters were involved in heterosexual relationships throughout all four seasons of the show and not once displayed any homosexuality. I believe the showrunners were struck with a sudden case of 'wokeness', which was just becoming popular in 2014, and they decided to tack on a fake lesbian relationship at the 11th hour. Great show despite the last 20 seconds of the last scene.

Apparently a gay couple live in the old Myers house in a decision that feels political and completely inorganic. They constantly refer to themselves as 'Big John' and 'Little John'. It is unclear if this is a sexual innuendo or if it's supposed to be comical - either way it's very distracting. It isn't helped that one of them is played by comedic actor Michael McDonald. Comedian Lenny Clarke is also in the movie and these comedic actors undercut the seriousness and horror of the movie and takes me right out of it.
There is a couple wearing costumes - the man is dressed as a doctor while his girlfriend is a sexy nurse, however, they make a point of saying he is in fact, the nurse, while she is the doctor, lest anyone see a woman in any form of subservient role to a man...again, seems forced.
The movie is shot well and the acting is good, but some of the character motivations and behaviors seems silly and unbelievable.
