That '90s Show
Times change. Teenagers don’t.
Hello, Wisconsin! It's 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.

Slightly woke and hammy acting but funny 90s nostalgia references
A bit woke with a token gay character but the show is endearing enough to keep watching. The acting is mid range to poor in spots but there are some genuinely funny moments sprinkled in there. I'll be honest I was not expecting Tommy Chong to reprise his role as Leo and the Clerks reference was perfect for his character. Its also pretty cool to see where Red and Kitty ended up after the original show ended. Their story is quite honestly the best part of the show. Give this one a try, you might be surprised.

NOT the 90's
Checks all the diversity boxes, black, asian, gay, feminist. Stupid straight males. Bad acting, unfunny jokes and bad dialog. How about getting some writers who actually experienced the 90's because anyone who grew up or lived in the 90's can tell you this isn't it. Feels like a bunch of young modern writers who think throwing in some random pop culture references and posters they looked up on Wikipedia will cut it.

That Sorta 90s Show
Occasionally fails to properly capture the 90s. Nobody said tramp stamp or rando in the 90s. They even include modern Pringles cans.
Ozzie is exceedingly gay. You can't convince me Jay and Nate don't have a thing for each other, either.
