Boring Thriller Without the Thrills
DEI hires. White father with black daughter. Female POC parole officer. Mixed race couples. Boring, bland straight to dollar bin DVD. This is listed as a crime, drama, horror. There is no horror at all in this. Acting is ok but everything else is predictable and bland. Pass.

Sinful
This 1971 film revels in socially unacceptable behavior, like Ravenous but without the cannibalism. It's not for family viewing, but I found it entertaining and amusing.
During the Civil War, a wounded Union soldier (Clint Eastwood) is taken in by a "young ladies" school, where jealousy becomes a dangerous force of nature. The youngest girl also appears in the Star Trek episode "And the Children Shall Lead". In both she plays a cute character similar to the Monty Python rabbit.
It's not woke, but it goes hard into sin, with pedophilia, incest, lust, and more. Even so, it's not explicit, and only one boobie is shown. Boobie girl is supposed to be 17 years old, but the actress was 22. There is a woman-on-woman kiss, but it's in a fantasy sequence and not pushing lesbianism.
It's not a film for everybody, and it's not really about war, but it's an entertaining, twisted film that holds up today. There was even a remake in 2017, but I've heard it is not as good.

Surprisingly Enjoyable With No Woke
No woke I noticed. I had written this one off as the reviews on most sites were pretty bad but after seeing the other review on here decided to give it a shot. I actually enjoyed this one. Acting was good all around with a decent story. It's a little slow to get started but it's never dull. Some creepy atmospheric shots and buildup with a couple good kills and gore. If your into horror this is one worth looking for.

The 80's Were So 'Problematic"
Huge amount of DEI casting. Sherriff is a short overweight Asian female. Genius black teen female invents time travel. The only person who believes her is the genius black female teens genius mother. Basically this whole movie revolves around an extremely annoying gen z woke liberal screeching about how terrible and problematic the 80's were. Literally every woke bs topic imaginable is here. It's not funny, it's not scary, it's just bad.

Gay gay gay
The story is sweet and curious, but naturally they have to shove LGBTPedo into the story. Can’t Britain make any films with straight people in it?
Well, it’s entertaining somewhat, but expect uncomfortable tossing tossers throughout.

Mind fuck
Predestination is like a melange of Looper, Inception, and Minority Report.
Based on Robert Heinlein's 1959 short story, "All You Zombies", this film starts slow, because it's putting all the pieces in place to blow your mind. Intent is important, and Heinlein's intent was to create a mind-blowing science fiction story. Therefore, no woke points, despite something that I don't want to spoil - something potentially disturbing to conservatives.
It's a cerebral film, not high action, so demands your full attention. It's a trip.

Waste of time
It’s the 1950’s gangland Chicago, where all the feminazis have taken over and the gangs are now all run by black women. What started out as a normal and rather interesting gang story reached midpoint and was injected with woke like a turkey baster up the producer’s very gay asshole.
Not worth your time.

Woke
They can’t have ISIS be the terrorist, no that would be racist. So let’s have the white republicans cut the head off a Muslim kid.
I even hate English “Hollywood”

A Little bit of 80's Goonie-ness
I guess we could make the argument that Elevator Game doesn't consist completely of Gen-Z White men looking for a monster in an elevator, but to be honest, the film sticks to a 1985-kind-of Goonies cast that works well together and the plot at least keeps our attention. Elevator Game even throws a few jabs in on the younger generation, which is cool: live at home with your parents, don't want to "adult" and so on. Gotta love that. The scares are few and far between, but like I say, it's worth a watch.

Good lord. And I forgot to leave a review on this garbage?
Yeah. It's so hard to watch. Men suck and Ryan Gosling is here for a paycheck. Who knows? Maybe he hates men too. I don't know Ryan. I'd take the part of an emasculated, castrated man for a few million. Whatever. This film is a "Marxist Lesbian" dream. Ugh.

Agree with other reviewers: Super Unnecessary Sequel with DEI
This from a reviewer who sat through way too many locusts in The Heretic. We just do not need another Exorcist sequel, but a sequel loaded with in-your-face DEI casting and for what? The only thing I disagree here with on WokeRNot is that it needs a 2/5 wokeness for the DEI.

Good "remake" with a great cast.
I didn't expect this to be a remake of the movie "Alive". I mean, remember all the controversy surrounding the cannibalism? Actually, I don't think there was. Maybe a little buzz.
I think Society of the Snow does a better job than Alive from an authentic perspective and it tells the story better, but in the end I was like, "must we go over this eating people thing again?".
I will say that casting dudes from Uruguay and other non-Ethan Hawk lands was a great decision. Not a bad film. Check it out.
