Bad Adaptation
Woke consists of a race swapped character and a gender swapped character. There may be more but that's all I noticed. This is another poor adaptation. The back and forth non linear story doesn't work here and should of been told in a linear fashion from beginning to end. Some of the characters were just wrong, Trashcan Man and Lloyd being 2 of the worst. Flagg is underused and never really scary, Mother Abigail comes off a just a crazy nut-ball. You really don't care about any of the characters or what happens to them. Even the weak 90's mini series is better than this.

Great show with amazing representation
Lots of asian representation and gender equality
The show has a lot of asian representation and the show takes a lot of inspiration from asian culture. As soon as episode one, one of the main characters of the show, Katara, stand up against sexism.
The show has great representation and fights misogyny.
The show also has great world building, amazing characters, and fantastic fight scenes.

Great and gay show
The show is great and shares a lot of similarities with Gravity falls. The show has great comedy and loveable characters. Luz is one of the best modern protagonists and emperor Belos is easily the best disney villain since Bill cipher. There are a lot of other great characters like Eda, King, Hunter and Amity who all go through excellent character arcs.
The show is also very gay, the maincharacter, Luz, who is a girl starts dating another girl, Amity, halfway through season 2 and there is also a non-binary character, Raine.

More Netflix Woke Garbage
Mixed race couple, beta husband, head of top assassin firm is a girl boss, in fact all the males are secondary betas to the alpha females. There are virtually no white males at all. Besides the woke this a terrible film. The acting is mediocre at best. Cuoco is horribly miscast in the part of a top tier assassin. There is no chemistry at all between the two leads and not believable as a married couple. There is no humor and almost no action and the little action that's here is bland and poorly done. Hard pass.
