Laughs in the face of wokeness
This movie is everything you want to see for something that brings to light the sheer lunacy that is the transgender movement. Men in women’s sports is completely laughable. I loved all the little jabs made throughout the whole movie about a myriad of wokeisms.
There were several actual laughs from me, I was pleasantly surprised that Daily Wire pulled off a comedy film.

1st Season Clever, Funny. 2nd Season Woke Trash
The first season while containing some woke themes also poked fun at those themes and actually had smart, clever writing that took shots at everyone equally. The 2nd season is just an endless parade of woke bs.
Gay characters, black oppression, anti white racism, men bad, women good. 1st Season is worth watching but best to stop after that.

An Abomination To The Franchise
Where do I even start with this. Race swapped black humpty dumpty April O'Neil. Splinter is no longer the wise ninja master but is now a pathetic weird father figure who can't stop talking about having is nipples milked! WTF!! The turtles are now thieves who vandalize and destroy property and steal whatever they want at will! Seems like almost every voice actor and character in this is vast majority black. Black POC girl boss. Why do the turtles who are supposed to be 15 sound like they are 8-10 years old. The ugliest animation I have ever seen in my life. Looks like a kindergartener drew it with a box of crayons and AI animated it. This skid mark of a film is in no way related at all to the TMNT franchise.

Paint By Numbers TV Holiday Movie With a Dash of Woke
DEI hires and the sister is a lesbian. Weird comment about not believing covid is real. Not really a bad movie just a bland average one. You know what's going to happen every second because the whole movie is so cliché. None on the characters are very likable, the humor isn't very funny and the 2 leads really have no chemistry. Typical of a hundred made for TV Christmas movies that come every year.

Really Disappointing with Some Woke Casting.
This is almost woke free and I guess could be considered woke free depending on opinion. The setting is the slums of LA so the large amount of black background characters is possible. A prostitute is obviously a man dressed like a woman in a wig. The villain is a non binary character played by a mentally ill 'non-binary' actor in real life but has literally about 3 min of screen time and hardly any lines. None of this is mentioned or preached about though. The acting and story are actually pretty good. The action scenes are a little hard to follow and oddly filmed. The real problem though is the pacing and editing. If feels like a 2-1/2 hour movie that got butchered and edited down to 100 minutes. Things happen that will have you scratching your head thinking you missed whole chunks of the film. There is no flow or progression to the story and nothing makes any sense. One example is several scenes that clearly establish that a fellow officer hates him and is berating him and throwing things at him. Then suddenly out of nowhere he is friendly and wants to help him take down the gang? There is a good movie hidden in here somewhere it's a shame this is what got released instead.

Not Horrible But The Worst In The Franchise
The black female friend/roommate is a total DEI hire. Horrible character that is totally out of place for this franchise. The entire purpose of the character is a cringe unfunny comedy sidekick spouting social media gen z nonsense constantly. This has been a serious horror franchise not the Scary Movie series. She assaults and kicks a white male in the crotch for calling her unattractive and nothing happens. That character single handedly brings the rating down a point. You could completely remove her character from the movie and change nothing else and it instantly becomes a better movie. The acting is average at best. The horror aspect just isn't there though. The creepy atmosphere this franchise is known for is gone and the attempts at jump scares are poorly implemented and don't work. It's probably a 2.5 in reality but I couldn't being myself to give a 3. Better to re-watch the original trilogy instead. Even The Last Key is better than this and that was a big step down.

Was This Funded By The DNC?
Wow this isn't a movie it's a liberal California writers wet dream put to film. The shooter is a liberals idea of a 'crazy alt-righter' who spends the entire movie preaching politics over a two way radio. It's a lefty propaganda movie that tries to make the right look like crazy, violent, racist gun nuts. The owners of the gas station are good innocent Mexican immigrants who we have to make sure have American flags hanging around the store and make sure they are in all the scenes. Of course there has to be the mixed race bs like always. The writing is terrible with everyone being as stupid as possible. Somehow hiding behind plastic convenience store shelves protects you from rifle rounds in this reality. Everyone in this moves and reaches for whatever they want to get as slow as humanly possible so the shooter has plenty of time to see them and line up a shot. Other than the lead the acting is abysmal especially by the black boyfriend who obviously was hired for quotas rather than ability.

Beautiful, Subtle
Valerian has a casual subtlety to it. The message is so subtle that it’s barely noticeable. The film is quite tolerable in this respect. Perhaps it is just being true to its comic roots? In any case, if woke movies in general were handled like this, I doubt we’d need a website such as we’re on warning us off of hazards.
Note to Hollywood: use a scalpel not a chainsaw. I guess.

Woke free
Zero woke. No DIE casting. No interracial. No woke themes. Good action flick.

Religion bad, atheism good -- once again

Every time I hope a documentary will give me an inside look at a different, interesting way of life, I get the usual, tired, "breaking away from" Amish/ Hassidim/ Mormonism/ whatever. Always with an assumption that religion is oppressive and evil and has nothing good to offer, so why tell us about it?
This was so disappointing, we had practically no information about the Hassidic way of life, only three people who had experienced unusually bad situations, the same sort of things, domestic abuse and molestation that can happen in any walk of life. They were part of the only 2 percent who want to leave the sect.
The counselor in the beginning exclaiming over the woman's number of children and saying "Where was your choice? You had no choice!" was such an obvious use of a trigger word, it was laughable.
We're led to think of the Hassidim as terrifying people keeping their members prisoner, even though "freedom" is just a few blocks away. These young people have left a secure world of warmth, community, tradition, and purpose for a world of drugs, violence, crime and prostitution, but the documentary is careful not to hint at any of that. The positive side of Hassidim was never shown and the secular life was a false promise. A fantasy in the guise of a documentary.

Part of the Chris Nee universe - Recommend to avoid
After seeing too many episodes of Ridley Jones, and getting it off our family screens early enough (we managed to avoid any serious woke damage) I became aware of, and wary of, the name, Chris Nee. My kids have been watching Spirit Rangers now for a lot of episodes, and caught one promoting indigenous 'treaty rights', hopelessly transparently. The next one I saw was all about 'cultural appropriation'. Ugh. Its perfectly possible to respect our indigenous fellow citizens, and respect legal agreements, but the subject of historical treaties is very complex, as is the whole subject of North American history and indigenous relations. This show is pretty woke and ideologically biased, and certainly trendy in all things that the New York Times would appreciate. Nuff said. Would not recommend.
