This is why we go to the movies, to be ENTERTAINED and nothing else.
This movie brings back the excitement of the 80's & 90's action movies I grew up with. You have the good guys and bad guys and some innocent hostages who need to be rescued. You root for the good guys and are entertained for 2 hours instead of being force fed an agenda. There is some language and violence which you would except but a great action/adventure/survival movie I'd recommend for sure and NO WOKE anywhere in this one.

Woke but still enjoyable.
Matt Damon’s character is a poor guy in a dystopian near-to-mid-future California. He is injured at work and faces his impending death by trying to fight against his society’s unjust ruling class, who live on a pristine space station.
Spoilers ahead:
The acting is good, and the story is too, but the film is essentially a vehicle to convey the writer or director’s politics as they relate to immigration in the USA. The space station is populated by capitalists who are portrayed as rich and heartless, and of course they exclude the third world earth people from their station, going so far as to shoot down ships with illegal immigrants on them.
Damon’s character infiltrates the station and changes it’s computer system to classify everyone as a ‘citizen’ effectively disabling the station’s defensive systems by preventing them from firing on the poor as they flood onto the station, inequality solved, right?!
I’d love to see the scene they left out though; as soon as the third world types on the earth take over the station, it would surely turn into the same dump they created on Earth!
Though I was rooting for the ‘bad guys’, I enjoyed the movie. It’s still worth a watch in my view.

An interesting premise poorly executed.
Not worth your time.

Truly horrible.
This show is everything you hate about the walking dead without the few remaining characters that caused loyal fans of seasons 1-3 of the walking dead to stick around too long. It’s truly awful.

Seasons 1-3 were fantastic. Skip the rest.
What started as a must-watch show, devolved sometime in season 4 to become a complete hodgepodge of woke garbage. It’s almost criminal - the show was brilliant and truly gripping until that point.

Such a shame it was cancelled after season 3.
This show was engaging and well acted. A truly gripping series set in a near-future dystopia brought about by an alien occupation, Colony was just hitting its heights when they pulled the plug.

A fun but stupid movie from a simpler time.
Back when Will Ferrell was still funny, he starred in a series of simple but irreverent comedies, and this is one of them.

A silly but fun comedy movie.
This is an enjoyable but rather silly comedy. Nevertheless it’s worth a watch, if for no other reason than the fact that several of its jokes would get it cancelled today, if anyone even dared to attempt a real comedy film these days that is.

I wanted to like this… but no.
It’s official - Star Wars is dead. Just stick to the first three films, and you’ll love Star Wars, but this film is the epitome of everything that has gone wrong with modern cinema. It’s as if the writers and the director took pleasure in debasing the old characters and in pushing as much woke goop as possible. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

This is a real gem.
Not only is this movie an entertaining dystopian action movie, it’s actively anti woke!
In addition to its bumper to bumper action sequences, this film is chalk full of anti political correctness humour.

A great sci fi / dystopian classic!
Stallone plays a judge/executioner/police man in a dystopian hellscape. It’s a good action movie with an engaging story.

A far more intelligent film than it appears to be.
This movie seems to be just a fun sci fi action flick at first glance. Human soldiers fight hordes of massive insects on distant worlds. But wait, there’s more!
Not only is the setting an over-the-top dystopia, but the entire film is laden with satire aiming at the eternal wars and the military industrial complex in the USA. It’s a truly brilliant film if viewed in its fullest context, but the greatness of it lies in the fact that despite its message, it is a truly enjoyable sci fi action movie as well. It works on both levels.
