Bad through and through

Please don’t watch this drivel. Won’t be touching Neil Gaimana work again. Such a shame.

Medium level woke

Despite being a superhero show, this is definitely a show made for a female audience. On wokeness, three episodes in, and the first had a couple of woke parts in the script, the second episode was relatively wokeless in comparison, and the third brought wokeness back. I personally didn't find it unbearable. If the reboot of charmed is a 5 in wokeness (unwatchable) then this is probably a 2 or 3. That being said, if you can get past the woke parts, there are a few chuckles and good special effects if you are a fan of shows like drop dead diva. Don't expect anything to be a realistic portrayal of the legal system.

I didn't find this woke. I'm only 3 episodes in, but there was no gender or alphabet ideology that I could see from 3 episodes. No woke sermons. It might be a bit slow moving for some but the I found it worthwhile. There are some gaps in the story that purists might not like, but I understand they only got partial rights and couldn't write for those bits. I'll keep watching and update the review if it goes downhill from there.

Get through the first hour and you'll be rewarded

Without giving away any spoilers, there are several elements in the first hour that are fully woke: neofeminism, revisionist history, GWMS (guilty white man syndrome), hyperpacifism - all while being perfectly fine with a social structure of royalty/inherited superiority and subjugation of people into classes or stations of work w/little to no advancement. So there seems to be some confusion and conflicted values at play. But make it past this point and one could argue that some enlightenment takes place, or even redemption from a couple of those initial portrayals. The bits of history, action sequences, special effects, and pretty good acting make it an enjoyable movie - and one of those worth discussion afterwards.

No woke, bless the cat.

No woke in this psycho thriller flick, despite plenty of opportunity to do so. The only disconcerting scene had nothing to do with woke - just the demise of a cat, and a furious search-engine scour that reminded me how poorly animals have been treated in film, historically speaking. That's not woke, but as the saying goes, You Don't Fuck With Cats.

Woke free.

Old fashioned flick with no woke

A creepy story about a bunch of guys on a dude trip down a river for old times' sake, only to run into a couple of gay backwater rapists.
But despite the LGBT baddies, there's no woke involved.

Not woke

Decent action/adventure movie with comical relief. Standard "save the world" script in combination with a unique twist in that the moon is a mega-structure. Excellent acting, SUPERB CGI / VFX and sublime directing.

There is no forced ideological pandering or indoctrination in this film.

It shows some Wokeness, but isn't woke.

This show focuses on respecting the audience, the movies that came before, and the main objective of being entertaining. Any wokeness in this film is openly mocked and shortly thereafter discarded. A great revival of a franchise with the heart and soul of what came before. Truly a breath of fresh air in this era of corrupted entertainment.

Not Woke!

This "Superman becomes a dad" series is absolutely great. I don't believe that CW is running the show and there's absolutely no forced ideology being pressed. It is however geared toward a younger audience and is a "coming of age" "in 2022.." type of show, so keep that in mind.

With that said: The story-telling is absolutely and significantly superb, the acting and actor chemistry is the best I've seen since Firefly and the art-direction/CGI VFX are absolutely phenomenal. 5/5

Not Woke

A Great spin-off series featuring Loki after the events of "Endgame". Wonderfully comical, extremely well-written and joyous ride from start to end.

Stargate - I would run out of character limit before I could say enough great things about the Science Fiction masterpiece.

If you haven't seen it, absolutely give it a shot. Obviously woke free as it predates 'wokeism'. I had to rate it though, definitely my favorite "space" series of all of them. Combined.
