Nobody does it better…
The great Bob Odenkirk makes this action movie very entertaining viewing with his usual mix of everyman charm and dry humour. How come so many other action stars get sucked into woke roles in woke movies when folk like Bob manage to stick to their principles?

Great sci fi
This is a great, but under-appreciated, sci fi film. Excellent acting and direction, believable effects, and inventive story telling. Great direction from Neill Blomkamp and a genius reluctant hero performance from Sharlto Copely

Compelling crime drama
Great depiction of Berlin between the wars. Interesting characters, compelling story. It’s raunchy (in the best traditions of Berlin) but I felt no woke.

Here we go again.
Well filmed, well acted. Cool steampunk-style sets… and it’s all about racism (well really speciesism) sexism etc etc perpetrated by a rogues gallery of thuggish, evil men. You get the picture.
