All of Wall Street is run by women
A documentary, so you'd think it'd just be facts, names and numbers. But there is a subtle, persistent slathering of feminist inclusionism that so permeates the documentary you'll be rolling your eyes halfway through the first episode.
For one, the documentarians only chose to interview female traders.
In addition, all of the re-enactments are populated overwhelmingly by women. If there is a man, he's getting talked down to by his female boss. You can tell that the director / producer is subtly trying to rewrite the 70's and 80's Wall Street as being a feminazi powerhouse, and it's laughable.
The actual key figures who give out information like the whos, whens and whys are, of course, men. Because that's how it really was.
The story itself isn't shredded by identity politics, so if you can wade through the whiny girl voices you can find a semblance of big picture in there. Just those stupid re-enactments.
I'm a chick, but it irks me to no end when they do this. Their message ultimately ends up being, "you wanna be a mob boss? Make sure you have no tits in your outfit. Ultimately they're going to be the unreliable sell outs and tattle-tales to woke-ass companies like Netflix."

No woke, no story
The story of a Polish mountain climber who suffers to climb in the snow. There's no woke, but there's not much of a story, either, as you just get shots of a guy in inclined whiteouts. Yes, I'm sure it was tough. Yes, I'm sure it was cold. But... but....? Okay.

WOKE AF.
Although it starts out okay, it's pure feminazi woke-ass bullcrap. Poorly formed characters wobble their way through predictable mic-drop scripts, any white male characters are weak, wimpy and unlikeable. All people in power are board-like hardass women with no souls, or POC who will, inevitably - turn out to be transgender or gay at some point if you dare to watch that far.
I couldn't get through the first season. Enjoy your spoon-fed helping of loser woke.

No woke, just Morgan Freeman
Morgan Freeman always seems to choose the best, non-woke-est, classiest films. This serial kidnapper / killer thriller is no exception. Albeit a bit predictable here and there, the story is engaging and the characters interesting. No woke, no politics, no feminazis, no racism, no forced characters.

Woke is subtle and ignorable
The series is about sports, so it should look at humans as humans and laud their impressive feats for what they are. But there is an unnatural helping of feminism that is shoved into the narration which makes much of it cringeworthy.
For example, the first episode is all about female competitors. Then there is ONE male features, and as soon as that segment is over, the narration goes, "but it's not just the MEN!" as if the entire show was not already about women.
Every time a female competitor comes on, it's no longer about the sport, but about the STRONG WOMEN that are playing it. The narration is so insistent it's patronizing. You end up hating the women's sports just because of it. I'm a chick, and nearly turned the stupid show off because of it.
But if you fast forward the feminism, the series becomes a little more balanced a couple episodes in. In fact, in retrospect, aside from that irritating part of it, the series is very nearly woke free.
That's why - at least for the moment - I say it's woke free.
If they start shoehorning men into women's sports somewhere down the line, however, I'm changing my vote.

Useful, with light cringe
It's good to examine big pharma and criticise society's increasing dependency on drugs on a daily basis, and this documentary, while making plenty of excuses for it, does try to examine the negative side-effects of doing so.
It has a very strange color correction problem - everything is a pervasive pink hue. I wonder if it's by design, or the editor has some kind of problem where everything looks green to him?
Anyway.
The woke is subtle, but palatable.
It comes in the form of forced representation. Gays interviewed because "visibility," right? Of course a lecture on how black people are oppressed by the system. How women are the only people who can be doctors because, fuck white men, right?
There are even edits which prominently feature "Hillary for President" in background props.
That stuff is pretty hard to ignore, and once you notice it, it distracts from the messaging and makes the rest of the film suspect.
But if you can make it into a drinking game and some kind of "Guess who the director voted for!" bingo, it's informative somewhat.

Underrated
A vaguely insane yet surprisingly engaging story about time travel, soul-swapping, and ADD-riddled characters created by Max Landis.
Not a shred of woke. No politics, no odd casting, no LGBT crap, no pedophilia, no feminazis. Just badass entertainment.

No woke to avoid, just an annoying narrator.
A fascinating documentary about the rise and fall of Carlos Ghosn.
As it is a documentary, there is little woke. None, really.
There is a useless narrator character that interrupts the flow to give a bimbo comment and no useful information. Still don't know why this talking head was included - perhaps a daughter of someone who needed screen time? Whatever she is, it doesn't count as woke.

Narrative pushing 101
This woman has been so coached, probably after the murder by her "online supporters," that she comes off ridiculously insincere. Instead of talking about the crime and those circumstances, the side of her defense jumps right to "minorities and women don't get a chance!" and of course, Evil White Men.
This is not a crime documentary. It's an undereducated hick being told what to say in front of the camera, again and again, repeating the lines of the script. The Narrative, the Narrative! The Narrative will save me!
Not worth the watch.

Sidestepping the woke
This is the (true?) story of a family of migrants that travels the hard way up to Europe. It shows the hard and long trek and the troubles that face migrants, but ultimately when they arrive in Europe they go through the legal registration system to get their visas and integrate into society.
In that sense, though there is potential for the encouragement of sympathy for illegals, it sidesteps that issue.
Therefore, there isn't really any woke in this. No feminazi stuff, no forced casting, no gay gay gay, no lectures, no politics.
