The lead white female greets her white daughter, Spanish husband and black father. Sure, why not. The entire movie is populated by nothing but
DEI minorities and females. I think I might of seen 1 white male background character until the first one shows up at the 30 minute mark and he's a throwaway character in service to the black father. Actually other than the black father and Spanish husband there's almost no male characters. Every single character is female. Even the Spanish husband is a manbun wearing neutered emotional house husband.
The acting is decent but the writing is pretty bad. There is a secret bunker safe house with state of the art security cameras and defenses
to hide diplomats but all the cameras are hardwired in with large gauge conduit literally just laying everywhere above ground for anyone to
see. My internet provider buries hidden cable better than this nonsense. Most of this movie consists of noises and shapes in the dark with
the lead wondering around looking concerned. The finale gets even sillier and the creature design and CG are shockingly bad. Not recommended.

It's been a while since I watched the first one but I don't remember it having so many corny cheesy scenes in it. The FX are still great and the
story is ok as a follow up but this one just seems less fun somehow. I don't remember the first one having so much forced humor and pop culture references though I could be wrong. Also the woke is pushed significantly into this one as well. Norway is a vast majority white country yet there is DEI minorities everywhere here including crowd and background character shots. Of the six core main actors in the group there is 1 white male, 1 darker male that I couldn't find anything on, 3 white females. and 1 Iranian female. The feminist movement is very prominent here. All men are relegated to just standing around or making jokes until a much smarter woman tells them to do something. Even the white Prime Minister and his general are ineffectual idiots. The ending has the females suddenly turn into military grade arms experts firing grenade launchers with precision and rapid reloading without any training whatsoever. If you liked the first one this is worth a one time watch if you can take the heavy forced in feminism and DEI.

The opening 5 minutes is pure cringe. I initially thought it was set in modern day and just really bad with the acting, music and terrible humor. Then I thought I was wrong and it was set in the 90's sometime and it was meant to be like that. However 5 minutes later a character pulls out a smart phone and starts texting. This sets the tone for this idiotic mess. The longer it goes the worse it gets. This is slapstick pure cringe comedy that's bordering on parody. Nothing is funny and every painful joke goes on for way to long. Also this should be advertised as Sci-Fi as well as Action-Comedy and I'm not sure why it's not. The acting is ok but that's about it. The music it terrible and out of place. The fight scenes are badly shot and they use the low frame rate stutter motion effect that looks awful. I only made it to 30 minutes and I just couldn't take any more. At that point the only woke I saw was some DEI and a black father says his son is white.

Great series

Woke-free and generally a great series. Gets a bit shaky in the 3rd season but the first 2 are top tier.

Some major plot holes: Even though Marco removed his and Raymond's implants from the back, both of them were still able to get controlled! If there are 2 implants, what's even the point of the back one? Was Raymond always being controlled, or did he want all of it? Because if he were controlled, he wouldn't keep saying sorry while unaliving the senator, or he wouldn't say that he was the enemy when he met with Marco during the voting.

A real classic from the glory days of SNL

This is a musical. Instead of show tunes, it's loaded with amazing Chicago Blues and Soul legends. John Lee Hooker, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and the musical talents from SNL such as Donald Dunn, Matt Murphy, Steve Cropper, Willie Dixon, etc. In my opinion, it's a must-see, comedy classic.

Completely over-the-top action fun.

This is one of my favorite re-watch flicks. It's great action comedy. Jesse plays an emotionally damaged character who was programed by a top-secret government agency. He has no memory of any of that so he bumbles his way through figuring things out. A small town stoner, loser dude has mad skills that he's unaware of and a girlfriend that's way above his status. It's been a while since I've watched it but, I don't remember any woke elements.

A new, classic 80s-style suspense-horror flick!

A refreshingly unwoke film that ticks the boxes and delivers on its promise. It's a fun, popcorn thriller with a smooth soundtrack and lots of 80s callbacks. Suspenseful and violent, this movie has a classic feel with a satisfying ending. I won't spoil the surprise twist (and savvy viewers might guess it) but I can say Chekhov's 'gun' makes a welcome appearance as does the obligatory spooky maze.

The agent of change is ruthless but many of us might have wanted a guardian angel or mysterious benefactor just like this. As one of the hapless victims muses, "be careful what you wish for"...

The ironic thing is that if the Final girl had not gone nosing around then presumably nothing untoward would have happened to her family. The extreme conditioning would not have kicked in and there would have been no blow-back. In a sense, she invoked bad things but remained blithely unaware of her agency in it. Of course, this salutary lesson will be missed by many and even that won't detract from the fun. If you like 80s suspense-horror flicks then you will probably enjoy this one.

Very creative, suspenseful, and terrifying at times.

This was truly a very creative movie in the horror genre. Feminist Hollywood still can't just make a movie without portraying men as weaklings or predators and they managed to do both here. Still, even with the woke trash, there is still enough on the bone to really enjoy this. Inde Navarrette did an amazing job as Nikki and Michael Johnston did a good job as well. The director and writer Curry Barker's budget was only $750k and it has grossed over $300 million so far. He could be a director to watch moving forward.

Another throwback set in the 80's slasher movie. This one actually does a pretty good job with the setting. The clothes, hair, sets and language
are for the most part pretty good. These 'college' kids for the most party actually look the part with the exception of the female lead. The actress is 30 and while that's not so unusual to see that now in the 80's would of been highly unlikely. The acting is mostly good and the writing is pretty
well done, at least most of it is. This is marketed as a slasher/horror but It's not really. I would call this more of a serial killer/thriller. The last 20 or so minutes throws some hidden twists at you and starts to really stretch believability, this is also where the writing takes some hits as well. The sudden twists make earlier events questionable and there is a lot left unexplained or things that no longer make any sense. It would of worked much better as just a straight up 80's style slasher. Maybe worth a one time watch but I thought the ending really fell apart and dragged the whole thing down. Nothing really woke. There is a female forest ranger. Women were not allowed in the field as forest rangers until 1978 so a female ranger in the 80'swould be very rare but not impossible. It never says exactly what year it is but given some of the set pieces used it would most likely be later 80's

Non woke movie that has a B-rate movie feeling

It's not going to win Hollywood awards, and that's ok.
-It goes into many of today's political hot topics.
-Several scenes were questionable, making the main character a villain rather than a vigilante.
-The fluff interviews were a bit hammy with all the praise, and would have been better if there was someone to dissent and be a mouthpiece to show how crazy the media and politicians are.
-The camera work in some places was a bit much, every other second switching back and forth nearly a dozen times.
-The main actors were great
-Other than all that, it got the point across well.

Highly recommended

I loved this show, it constantly kept me going back and had my attention the whole time.

The one woke element is the old "black woman cop is the one who solves everything" and of course easily takes out several guys in one scene. But she doesn't have the full usual cuntish attitude, just a little bit of that vibe and not enough to ruin it. She wasn't totally unbearable like women in some other recent shows that I turned off.

That is the oly real woke thing I can point out, other than that highly recommended. One of the best shows i've seen in a while.
