Not really woke, just bad.
Not really woke other than a lot of over the top girl power stuff. This is just bad, from the cheap low rent animation to the horrible inaccurate characterizations of the Justice League. This is like bad Anime fan fiction that highjacked the DC universe in too trick people into watching it. Whoever is responsible for this knows nothing about the dc universe and its characters.

Arthur Conan Doyle done justice
It's a modern-day version of Sherlock Holmes and it's free of identity politics and it has a great story and casting? Surprisingly it happened. These TV series are so rare nowadays we should cherish them when they come.
The stories can stretch the imagination but are overall excellent, I think particularly the first and 3rd seasons were amazing. If you're into mystery solving or love B. Cumberbatch, you will be left in your seat for the whole seasons.

Mildly woke but enjoyable flick
Henry Cavill would be the new Tom Cruise because of his amazing talent if only modern Hollywood wasn't so god-awful and woke currently. He and the female main actress carry the film on their shoulders.
The film revolves around gender-swapped Sherlock Holmes (people would hate them if they did that so they made the main actress his sister) and trying to uncover a mystery. It's mildly woke due to the ahistoric portrayal of England in the 19th century but it wasn't offensive too much and they also didn't bash you on the head with identity politics but let the story be the main point of the movie. It's an enjoyable flick but mildly woke and with not a particularly deep story, easy 4/5.

Meh
A few funny moments but overall not very funny. Typical feminist anti male agenda push.

A Disney Experiment
This show is the most accurate representation of the WOKE movement in its PUREST ESSENCE. It takes a universe that doesn't have a lot of audiovisual media (but has been successful) and expands it but with the political agenda of the moment and pushes it to the very limits of that frontier. Not only does the series not narratively fulfill the premise of the show's name, it destroys and minimizes it to the point that it takes away the viewer's love for the original universe, making their interest in the story get lost in a feast of parallel messages that build nothing to the story and have nothing to do with the protagonist. Want to see the most woke show of all? Here it is. A perfect parameter to see how the structure of Disney's agenda and the "majors" is shaped.

Anti White BS
1st episode we have all diversity casting, female spanish FBI lead, white nationalist villains, white male agent is negatively joked about looking at alt right websites. Horrible acting. Complete woke trash, no wonder it was cancelled after 1 season.

Woke Diversity For The Stupid Generation
Girl bosses, social justice messaging and diversity. For a country with a 3 percent black population they must all be working on this show. This is written so poorly it can only be for the current stupid generation. Anyone with half a brain will see common sense and accuracy mistakes everywhere. This might as well be a comedy it's so badly written.

Surprisingly not woke for Disney
A token black and brown character, but that was it.

Not Woke-An Excellent Movie
It's set in the 1937s so the history of that period becomes relevant. There are elements like Socialist/Marxism discussed and quickly dismissed as dangerous.
Very entertaining.
I was ready to start typing away to document Woke elements but none here.

Medium Woke but still entertaining
The Asian girl (Joy Yoshino) is automatically stereotyped. Everything is racialized these days. She is teased that she only eats rice. Really?
The Asian girl (Joy Yoshino) wants to come back from the dead and haunt Ted Cruz. She hates Republicans? Most people on the left hate anything to the right of socialists. Why bring politics into this discussion unless you as the director want to do a hit job? Oddly it has no relevance to the conversation. These days even a liberal can’t get a word in. Ironic.
Here goes another stereotype. The Asian girl (Joy Yoshino) instantly appears to write code on his computer and magickly the answer appears. Really?
I liked the two boys. Good typical high school interaction. The family overall gelled well. They are a black family but it didn’t matter either way and was transparent to the story.
The gay ghost reference was interesting. I would guestimate that there is no sexuality of any kind on the other side.
Save Ernest from Capitalism? Again, a reference to politics with absolutely no relevance to the storyline. How about explaining the director’s goal of saving the USA from success and freedom.
Of course, CNN gets a plug in the movie. This only happened because the director or Netflix chose it this way. No one watches CNN anymore!
The Asian girl (Joy Yoshino) runs into the boy’s bathroom and criticizes a football player for his “gender norms”. Completely unnecessary to the story line.
I am utterly amazed the director put and outright home invasion of a black family’s house in the movie.
I did drop Netflix for the woke spin on their content. They are not the worst like Disney is but the corrosion is expanding.

Not Woke - Amazing Story-Telling
The new Super Mario Bros. Movie is spot on in plethora of ways.
Firstly, the story-telling in the movie is absolutely great. They take the "Mario" universe and put a great spin on the Bowser versus Mario conflict while introducing real-world elements and 'Mario-verse' elements seamlessly. No spoilers, but if you're a fan of the Mario games, you will love this.
Secondly, zero woke elements. There's a mixture of inclusion, togetherness and morality but none of it is forced into the story for the sake of making a point. To me, that is the primary indicator of "woke" elements. The sheer fact it doesn't berate you for not accepting forced ideology is outstanding given it's release in 2023.
Lastly, the visual effects as well as the audio are next level good. Everything is crisp, well animated and well above par for a professional development studio. The direction of the movie is fluid, it is broken down into traditional "acts" so following the story is seamless but not boring.
6/5 Stars. The extra star is for the Star-Power you'll receive after enjoying this film. Definitely a Must-See.
