Jesus is the way
Very binge worthy. Some odd casting choices though. Obviously not done to be woke, but Joseph was black? They couldn't cast him in another role and someone Jewish or Middle Eastern for Joseph like the rest of the disciples and main cast? Super odd.

Not too woke
Comes off a bit forced strong independent woman, but not too over the top by Hollywood standards. Other than that, it wasn't woke. Decent prequel.

Intense and interesting...
I don't recall any woke elements, but the film has a tough job trying to live up to the expectations fans have from the original film... This one isn't as good IMO, but is still a great development and exploration of the rage virus, the U.K. and characters dealing with this new world...

Quite good!
It has the hallmarks of an awful woke movie- strong female protagonists and male characters are (generally) bad. The racism depicted in the film is a key point in the film as well.
I'm not American, so my knowledge of segregation and racism in the USA is limited, but HF feels like a reasonable representation of racism and the era it is set in. The male characters do come around and treat the women respectfully by the end of the film. Having said that, in at least one instance, it's clear that a man who seems racist early on is just a standard stoic type of character under a lot of stress instead. Overall, the film deals with several very sensitive issues and presents them quite well IMHO.
If nothing else, it's a thought-provoking film that could easily start some great conversations.

Not woke
A couple of cheesy woke lines was the extent of it but didn't rise to the level of mild woke. I wouldn't exactly say woke free though since the lines were noticeable and forced. Black character wasn't too token. Indigenous female character wasn't too token either. Overall, a good movie and worth the watch.

There's one line near the beginning where a shop woman says "this is what we call female empowerment" after Zoya takes down some baddies. Cringe, and surprising for a Bollywood movie, which are usually quite conservative. Otherwise a good film

Barely based on the ashes of the summary of Asimov's Foundation
So "woke", that they changed some of the the main characters to be "women", african-american women, just to expiate some imaginary progressive guilt. They've destroyed the whole original material with this abomination. Not even Demerzel, a pivotal character survived this madness. As they wasn't able to secure the rights for his character, they've made Demerzel a robot woman capable of killing, disobeying Asimov's laws of robotics, laws you won't be able to find anywhere, because they aren't even mentioned in the show. If you don't know the original material, you may think this is a "masterpiece". It's not. This is an insult to Asimov's fan base. Don't waste time with this farce. Just read the books and you will find out how good science fiction is really made. And (as if it even need it), Bel Riose is gay now, how about that? Expect "more" of this nonsense in the future.

One woke character
The film is actually better than it looks, with a standard save-the-miners trucker hauling stuff in a big rig across a dangerous ice road.
There is only one woke element, and that’s a pipsqueak teenage girly-girl who also of course happens to be a super-skilled stunt driving tucker who of course yells “racist” any time anyone criticizes her, and of COURSE is a social justice warrior activist. But is it enough to call the film woke? No. She’s just insufferable and you wish she’d die the whole time. But just that.

Basic title
The movie is more a sketch, a trial, than a complete project. It feels like they did not think trough and are unsecure of what is going on, so they just put random ideas together. The fact that they address the pre-life period is good, now there is no direction. Still the movie is human, with people that care, clueless but caring. I did not spot any wokeness and it give a sense of humans feeling responsible even if they don't understand what is going on.

Crazy but somehow very grounded.
The film focuses on the marriage between Carrell and Fey's characters, their growth through the film as well as their dependence on each other. They are both strong (albeit, each with many flaws) and they are stronger when they are helping each other solve their problems together.
The script is crazy at times, over the top excesses of miscommunication and bad decisions made- but the heart of the film is very much grounded in real relationships, real issues and lived experiences. As a parent, there were so many details that rang so true- whether being bombarded by the kids way too early in the morning- all the way through to the husband and wife's in-jokes and their responses to the limitations in their own marriage.
Highly recommended.

It's pretty woke, but actually really entertaining and well done
I can't deny that there are definitely strong woke elements to this one, but in the end I rather enjoyed it.
Think "Being John Malkovich" but a horror version
One of my guilty pleasures perhaps, but it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat

Stupid Nothing Burger With a Side of Woke
People with money bad for no real reason, poor prostitute good, hardworking unappreciated 'artists' and service industry good. A little metoo, men bad moment thrown in. The acting is generally good and I thought this was going to be a horror cannibal type film but nope. It's not even horror nor is it funny. It's just terrible and nothing much really happens. It's just 2 hours of 'poor me nobody appreciates me' whining. Nobody would act the way these people act in this situation. Not one single person ever makes any attempt to fight back in any way. This is one of the stupidest movies I've seen in a long while.
