Ginger, spice, and everything nice

No noticeable woke elements or themes. There are 2 interracial couples, but this is based on a true story, so the interracial couples weren't "forced" which would make it woke.

Raised by Woke

Only suffered through 1 episode of this garbage. Mixed race android couple, science atheist good, religion bad. Female that looks like some kind of gay lady-boy with no female features. All men from religious sect are bad and lady-boy goes full mary sue super human and slaughters all religious male characters. Horrible acting and dialogue. Plot holes galore and nothing makes any sense. How is Ridley Scott in any way attached to this complete trash.

Good start with a mid ending

Disenchantment is the typical bait and switch series, the cartoon starts woke-free with interesting story elements that could evolve to something better.

But after season 2, All of the male characters become useless and/or submissive to the main character in which is bean, the woman in the cover;
and minor spoilers but luci(in which is the demon in the cover) was supposed to own bean's soul due to a pact but that is completely forgotten after the second season, he becomes nothing but a helper of the team.

After season 3 bean apparently gets into a lesbian relationship and the series turn into a feminist message about how women don't need men, are stronger than them and can be independent.

it has some overly exaggerated jokes that can be funny but yes, that's it, if you can ignore the woke aspects of the series, it is a 6/10 cartoon, or by the metrics of this website, a 3/5

Cunts need not watch

Zero woke. I've seen half a dozen clips/memes from this series before finally binging all 3 seasons. Pretty easy with 25-minute episodes and only 6 episodes a season. "Diversity hires" relegated to a token black female secretary, which is in all 3 seasons, mainly a background character with minimal lines. And an indian female, which is in the first 2 seasons, with a more major role. Cheeky line in S1E4 makes it worthwhile.

Woke and fun free

I didn't notice anything woke in the first few episodes but also the jokes are extremely poor? It's supposed to be situational humor without a laugh track but there wasn't anything funny. I lasted a few episodes in S1 and gave up. This is modern 'Simpsons' levels of funny, if that's your cup of tea, go for it, otherwise, skip.

There's a strong sense of "independent woman." Alita is annoyed that Ido wants her to be his "good little daughter" as if that's a bad thing. There's a strong feminist theme throughout the movie. She then goes into a rebellious phase, following her own rules, not needing Ido's, which of course leads to intense aggressive behavior. Yes, I know it's a movie about a woman going into combat and battle. Just figured I should point it out.

Has some feminist tropes; demonizes opponents of mass migration.

This is a highly-produced fantasy romance in which a homely scholarly spinster discovers a genie in the bottle and finally wishes for a great romance with him. He happens to be a large black man. There are a couple of characters in the film who are supposed to represent bigoted Britons opposing "ethnics."

In reality, opposition to mass migration from countries like Pakistan and Syria makes sense if one is aware of the negative long-term consequences, such as more crime, terrorism, and barbaric practices such as honour killings and FGM (see Douglas Murray's The Strange Death of Europe). Western Europe is worth preserving. If not, by the end of the 21st century it will be entirely replaced. The movie very typically misrepresents this position as bigoted and racist.

There is also some undercurrents of feminism in it. There is an intellectually gifted woman trapped in a polygamous marriage who makes DaVinci-esque inventions (highly improbable) but never wishes for freedom. There is a slave girl in the Ottoman Empire who foolishly wishes to consummate her love with a local Sultan's son. The message seems to be that women are foolish to get involved with men or accept their terms.

It's all well done. The costumes and stories are excellent but the feminist undertone mars it. The protagonist's wish for romance is where the movie goes downhill. The first half is worth watching but the latter half drags on. The ending is disappointing.

The only thing lacking to make it 100% woke is an LBGTQ subliminal promotion.

Woke garbage.

Woke version of "Ready or Not" with interracial couple. Could not finish the movie after the forced interracial couple and realizing it's a cheap imitation of Ready or Not. "Ready or Not" is much more worthy of a watch than this woke garbage.

The very concept of the movie is woke! Girl not suited for racing, sneaks in as a twin sibling to "prove the girls can compete with the boys" Sheesh

Decent show. Slightly woke.

Not too woke but hey, it's Netflix! They waste no opportunity to do gender (Sham) and race (Nojiko, etc) swapping. And I didn't expect anything other than what they did with Nami's character.
But other than that, the cast is pretty decent and the show is good.

Or... you can just watch the anime, it's much better!
