Excellent sci fi
This show should've had multiple seasons but got shafted by the writers strike. Well written and acted and not the slightest bit woke.
But atleast with 22 eps it's the current equivalent of 2 or 3 seasons today and it does come around to answer at least some questions.

Charlie Cox rocks
I personally remember no woke elements. Charlie Cox takes a scenario I thought ludicrous ( not a previous Marvel fan) and gives it life and makes it entirely believable.

Great Movie, No Woke
Nothing woke here. Just a great movie. Manages to be very funny without being disrespectful with the material. Great performances all around and is able to avoid a lot of the cliché moments typically associated with these types of sports films.

A little woke
This show does represent most idealogies and even the liberalism of Leslie Knope is done with the purer optimism of classic liberalism (she puts Joe Biden and other democrats on a pedestal) but she is a believer in free speech and freedom . And everyone in her office seems to go for capitalism and building ones path in the world. Her boss is an extreme libertarian.
Everyone in the show is an individual and not in any way a part of group think. Upbeat, overall..

Mildly woke...there are no good guys
This is a excellent show if you can handle the excessive violence. If anything it shows there are no good guys or bad guys and there are no winners no matter your color. or what side of the law you're on.
Jeremy Renners character tries to mediate and keep the peace between the factions but he, himself, is capable of great violence and has no patience to wait it out for sanctioned justice.
The whole town is kind of a hell hole.
The worst wokeness is Diane Wiest in S1 centering only on teaching the violent minority criminals in the prison on how they've been wronged historically.. Probably not the brightest thing to concentrate on. It catches up with her.

Mostly not
Overall a dedicated but damaged vigilante with a mission is not very woke to me. There are women in power but they're hardly perfect. Mostly gritty and entertaining.
Jon Bernthal does a fantastic job with a very conflicted character.

Powerful women?
Overall this is a pretty good show. If you consider it woke to show women more inclined to go to the dark side...then avoid. If you think a poverty strcken section of America ( where our main characters are forced to go) is suppose to be representative of all America..then avoid.
Mostly it's just about a bunch of criminals trying to out wit one another. There's no one perfect just less degrees of bad.

High testosterone
I'm a woman who enjoyed this series even though the violence and sexual gratuity is over the top and the testosterone level insanely high. But it's highly entertaining and Lucas Hood rocks.
There is a computer trans geek in the show... but who cares?

Good sci fi
This show gets better as it goes along combining the wildest of supernatural and sci fi elements with well written characters and creative twists. But no woke entanglements.

Excellent characters
This is a popular police show from the early 2000's that I came across recently and found more entertaining than the current excuse for entertainment. It's diverse while not being woke ( or atleast compared to more recent fare). It combines action with character growth while being well wrtten and well acted.
I miss things like that.

An unpredictable approach to crime solving with 2 of the most unique detectives I've ever seen. Not at all woke....and Joel Kinnaman rocks.

Not Woke
Whatever problems some may have with the direction this show took; wokeness is not a problem. What it does have is a diverse cast and interesting characters with a lot of chemistry .
