Season 1 Great, Season 2 Woke Trash

Season 1 had some mild woke but I don't remember anything over the top. Generally a great season. Season 2 throws it all out the window. Nothing about this is the Punisher. Terrible writing, the acting is all over the place, the dialogue is laugh out loud bad. Even the action scenes are so poorly shot and choreographed they can't save it. The Punisher is ex military, he plans out and hunts his targets with precision and without mercy. But here he is nothing more than a run of the mill thug who bumbles his way through and is mostly ineffective. In fact all of the male characters are basically over emotional man babies who spend all of there time whining and talking about there feelings and emotions while all the females are strong, smart and intelligent. In fact all white males other than Punisher and the gay son seem to be villains. Jigsaw is a joke and spends most of his screen time in a cry closet blathering to his therapist. And then there is the evil right wing Christian crime syndicate slaughtering at will to hide the fact there son is gay while attempting to take over the government. What a joke.

Nice show, not woke

Nicely done drama about a forthcoming extraterrestrial invasion to Earth, and the struggle of a scientist and a cop who are trying to uncover an evil scientist group conspiracy. Based on Liu Cixin books, and covering more than 60 years of chinese history (including Mao, crude as it was), this show is a small woke-free gem. Don't expect great acting or masterclass directing, but I've seen a lot worse in western material. Recommended!

STOP GIVING MOVIES A "SUPER WOKE" WITHOUT EXPLAINING IT!!!

If you watched the first "Shazam!" movie, you're in for a treat. The movie celebrates everything the original did and added more comedic elements to it. As for the wokeness, there is a scene where Billy (shazam) and his foster siblings (the other champions) tell their foster parents that they are super heroes. One character, Pedro, takes this as his sign to say "I'm gay" instead of the "we're superheroes". This is the ONLY mention of Pedro's sexuality. I personally thought that was a funny way to include the wokeness that bleeds into every mainstream superhero movie ever. Great watch, but I would HIGHLY advise to watch the first "Shazam!" movie before this.

Decent film that is fun to watch

The only "woke" thing in this movie was a quote about gender norms. Other than that, it's a fun movie with a great cast and great writing.

Decent Movie, too much race swapping

The movie is a decent DC anime movie like most of them, they went full race swapping the Legion of Super heroes, several of them got their race changed. Several principal characters of the Legion like Triplica got raceswapped.
I dunno why americans are so obsessed with having other races ''representation'', apparently it's american to think you can't relate to other humans unless they are of their own race. When I was a kid living in South America, I related more to Static than other super heroes, despite being Latino and he being black. I guess as per American logic I was being a race traitor or something.

Extreme wokeness

Typically the type of movies built to insert you an extra dose of suppository wokeness / lgbt without letting you even feel it. Sneaky. Evil.

No Woke Just Good Entertainment.

The rare modern film that has no woke and is actual real entertainment. Manages to present both sides of the Vietnam war argument without being preachy or one sided. Well done.

Okay film and woke free

Film was okay. Better because it wasn’t woke and that was refreshing. They actually has a white personal in the film and was not depicted as evil. Worth a watch.

Great movie.

Some woke. First black men were rarely peace officers in the 1800s. Second the main female character puts on pants, picks up a gun and fights, which would have never happened.
That said Denzel is great just like he is in all movies and Chris Pratt does a great job as a drunken gun fighter.
