Wahoo!
This film blew me away by how good it was. What I expected to be woke garbage turned out to be a celebration of my childhood. The only "woke" thing in this movie was portraying princess peach as a strong character; it's kind of ironic because most of the time she's the one being captured. Would highly reccommend, promotes traditional american values and hard work.

Seven producers of this crap should die
While the commercials on Netflix always show normal battle teasers that promise an interesting flick, once you start watching you know it's going to go woke.
Have you ever noticed that if a show has a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it's going to be shit, but if it has a low rating, the audience score is going to be high? It's because we're done with the woke narrative and aren't interested in what they're peddling.
The show is an attack on Christianity, of course.
But equally disgusting is the constant gay sex. LGBTPedophiles are all over this. Some pervert rapist director said once that you have to "sneak in" a gay love story, and they're not just sneaking that member in, they'r ramming it right up the poopholes of anyone dumb enough to watch this through.
SKIP, skip, SKIP. Unless you're into that kind of thing, in which it's a low-rent wannabe GoT without any likable characters.

I was very disappointed to see that this movie went the predictable route of working in woke content towards its conclusion (of the series overall). I’m sorry to write a review when I didn’t watch the full film but I turned it off the moment the new king started making out with another man not too far into the film.

Beautiful movie and script. Tear jerker. During the most vulnerable, emotional moment, they insert the token Trans person to normalize it. What a way Hollywood! Will not recommend. Felt emotionally betrayed.

Good movie but has some flaws
Over all the movie was fine but it has some underlying issues.
Woke wise it has some girlboss Peach but word is Illumination wanted to make her full girl boss and be the hero of the story but Nintendo smaked them down but you can see some bits left over.
The real issues are the fact that Luigi was under utilized in the film and the pacing was too high. It definitely needed another 10-15 minutes to let it breath.
Other than that the film was enjoyable with a lot of references that Mario fans will enjoy.

Just fantastic
Wow. I happen to see this as a “just added” on Peacock one night and decided to give it a go. I had never heard of this movie so didn’t expect much, but I was fantastic. I’ve am so surprised this was not a hit when it came out. Good story, great casting, good casting. One of those films that you will remember years later. Don’t pass this one up.

WOW!!! I have waited!!!
I have waited SO long for a proper Nintendo movie and The Super Mario Bros. movie CRUSHES all expectations out of the park!!! No wokeness in my opinion and I am pretty hard on that garage as I screen media now-a-days to keep that crap out of my children’s head. Explanations of everything were spot on! A must see for any Nintendo, animation, and non-woke fan.

Friend told me about this movie and my thoughts
I see there is a different opinion on woke and reviews on here.
If anyone says something isn't woke and never says why they think it isn't is a warning sign and calling someone a troll without reasoning is something someone woke would do.
The film is soft woke. I'm going to break it down so it is easy to understand for people who are new at seeing propaganda.
Are white portrayed negatively? Yes.
Are browns and blacks portrayed positively? Yes.
Is the main women character put on a pedestal? Yes.
Does the white woman give up on her goal to see her biological family to live with nonwhites? Yes.
So to say it isn't woke would be lying. Just because you enjoy a movie doesn't mean it isn't propaganda. Good propaganda works. This is why leftist memes are the best because people pay to see them and not realize that they are making fun of you and hate you if you are white.
If interested in more propaganda in movies and shows then watch blackpilled on odyssey. He goes over a lot of movies and shows and use to work putting propaganda into such.

Not woke, but very Democrat.
There are no new revelations in this documentary series - just the same stuff you'll find on PooTube, rehashed and re-edited. And again and again, every episode are pro-democrat, pro-Obummer scenes. In addition, they go out of their way to demonize "The Right" ...even though the evil Right they try so hard to tear down early in the series end up being correct. They just want to paint the right as racists again. And again, and again.
I wish I could watch a documentary without knowing the directors' political leanings, but heck, it's Netflix. No wonder they're going broke.
Is it woke, though?
No, not really. There's leftist narrative in terms of "Great Obummer! Evil right-wing people!" But that's not really all that woke. There are no feminazis, no anti-white racist jokes or jabs, no LGBTPedophiles, no anti-constitutional arguments. You'll be rolling your eyes all the time, but it's not actually woke.
But like I said, nothing new. Netflix documentaries are all edited / colored / soundtracked the same predictable way, too, so yeah, you can skip it and miss nothing.

3rd season is woke
First to seasons are very seeet and fun. The. Season 3 which was written and in 2020 leaves the magical world they were in and comes back to reality for a whole episode on how great quarantine is. Additionally Ru Paul the drag queen is a villain shoehorned in for some reason. The final episode is sweet and doesn’t include too much of that garbage but it’s a shame they ruined the last season with woke crap.
