Surprisingly a cool Predator prequel
If they cld remove the post-modern woke elements, then Prey would have been a worthy Predator movie that was probably on par with or better than Predator 2.
Pros: Great story, entertaining fight sequences and cool Predator design. I love the Native American angle.
Cons: All the natives are speaking with modern American English and sensibilities. Woke view of native american social hierarchy. All whites are super evil, incompetent and cruel. Anachronistic girl power element, though not as bad as Rey.
I’d watch it if you are a Predator fan, it’s miles better than the last two Predator movies, including AVPs.

Season 1-2 are great, S3 is much darker
The Orville carries the spirit of Star Trek: TNG, with the first two seasons surprisingly mature, fun and uplifting. Season 3 turned dark, grim and downbeat. There are amazing (musical) moments, specially to do with Gordon. But they double down on the Alphabet content and liberal vs conservative political issues.
It deals with many modern social and political issues (in particular US issues), like TNG, but it lacks the wisdom and wit to present a more nuanced and balanced perspectives from different sides, unlike TNG.
S3 in particular sometimes felt like a woke-liberal propaganda against everything they think are the roots cause of evil: conservatism, religion, family and patriotism.
Give the series a go, it’s nowhere near Picard or Discovery level of wokeness.

Really no woke, but a little sad.
There seem to be no elements of woke in this - no forced diversity casting, no feminazis, no gay stuff, no politics.
The one sad element is something all too common in mainstream television, how if there is a "Christian" character in the story, inevitably they lose their faith and choose the life of debauchery (depicted as freedom). It doesn't make the show woke to have this element, but as a Christian conservative it makes me sad to again and again see characters lose their faith in God and "go native" shown as a good thing.
Anyway, you can watch this series, at least this first part of it, on Netflix without encountering any woke elements.

One of the greatest satires ever made
Although the film DOES have strong socio-political messaging, it's most definitely not woke in any way. This film follows the misadventures of a young and hopeful group of people who join the military to fight an "intruding?" race of alien bugs. Lots of gore, lots of lewd jokes, and very black comedy, but absolutely not a shred of woke.

Cancelled before the 1st season even aired and still one of the best sci-fi shows ever. Nothing woke to be found.

I rated this originally back before I was writing reviews on this site so this is from memory as best as I can recall. While I have
never read the books they are on my to read list however from various articles and other sites this seems to have major changes from
the original material. I remember liking season 1 ok but it had some issues with pacing and general writing but overall good enough
that I continued on with season 2. I do remember season 2 was a step down and really disliked season 3. There continued to be
very slow pacing with lots of seeming pointless drawn out scenes to extend the series and the writing got worse as the seasons went
on. There is a very annoying loud elderly female next door neighbor that takes up a good amount of the screen time that I don't believe was
in the books. The entire subplot seems pointless and just there to add a feminist type female character. There is a prominent black character named Jerome that I do believe is from the books so not really woke unless you consider that a woke holdover from the books.
The biggest one for me was the character of Lou who has a different name and a minor character in the books. Here Lou is a gender fluid
lesbian and has been given a much larger role in the show. She is the typical angry, violent lesbian who is always the victim of
homophobia. She is a grating annoying character. I won't spoil anything but there is a big unrealistic woke moment in season 2 with
Lou and the Killer that I believe is also not from the books. Like I said this is from memory from 3 years ago so if I got anything
wrong here leave a comment below.

Not woke, just pointless and unnecessary
The first episode was interesting with the story of the clone army in the days after order 66, but it is riddled with pointless contrivances and canon breaking decisions that make no sense.

Awful woke bullshit
Nothing but an excuse to have checkbox alphabet characters in a crappy court drama that cares more about pandering and virtue signaling than it did the actual court cases themselves. It's no wonder it was never renewed for a season 2.
