Not woke, decent action flick
This one didn't have any majorly woke scenes, however, the pacing was a bit off.. I get that they had to move through the plot very quickly, but the logistics of getting a shuttle from a musuem to "launch ready" seemed to have happened in a matter of days, and this would be a much more massive human undertaking to achieve I feel like.
The performances seemed genuine, although I had a bit of a tough time personally connecting to all the characters. I feel like this was again due to the pace of the film. It reminded me a lot of movies like Armageddon and Deep Impact, where humanity has to rapidly respond to some majorly world ending peril with an over the top response that likely wouldn't actually be able to occur given our actual inefficiencies as a society.
Overall, 3/5 - No Wokeness detected.

All said, I sort of enjoyed the underlying sci-fi premise dealing with dyson spheres. I'm a bit of a nerd who actally plays a game where dyson spheres are constructed, so I was glad to see some content related to that.

Woke Free
SS:JL was an absolute dream to those who wanted it and a pleasant surprise for those who didn't know they wanted it. The movie was quite long, spanning just over four hours, but it was worth every moment. If you have a rainy Sunday with nothing to do, this is a Great movie to check out. There is no ideological pandering or indoctrination present in this movie.

Woke Free
Matrix Resurrections was a great movie follow-up to the three Matrix movies. It essentially 'resets' Neo back to a time before he realized he was "The One". Overall, the story well well-written and the acting was superb. This movie did not contain any elements of Ideological Pandering or Indoctrination.

Not Woke
Mortal Kombat 2020 was not a woke film by definition. The story and plot did suffer as the vision was not directed toward the game and the acting could have been a little less over-the-top. It's worth a watch on your phone if you're someone you'd rather not be with time to kill. This movie contains no forced ideological pandering nor any indoctrination.

Could not make it past the first twenty minutes of the movie. Sandra Bullock's actor made a statement of some such as "I identify as a semitruck and that means I love smart people" or something. Completely asinine stereotypical desire to put people further into boxed molds. Contains ideological pandering but does not force indoctrination. (For the first twenty minutes)

Guilty Woke-ish Pleasure
While this show is hilarious and makes fun of everyone, it is still built on pandering to woke stereotypes essential to get most media published these days (but yet still making fun of those same stereotypes....I'M SO CONFLICTED!!!). Male characters are generally bad guys or incompetent while female characters tend to be strong, capable, and independent (while still mocking those points of them).

Good for adults, Bad for impressionable children.
Mixed emotions here as I really enjoyed this series, the character development, and the art style. However, that does not hide the blatant in-your-face pro-antifa/BLM "eat the rich" narrative of the haves vs. have-nots. The only good "haves" are those who acknowledge their privilege and the only bad "have-nots" are those who want to be the "haves". The idolized heroes of the "have-nots" (Vander) are build around architypes that do not exist in the real world (but kids watching this would not know that). Those same heroes are discretely basically mob-bosses in disguise whose only answer is to threaten violence and harm for transgressions.

Once-Woke, Now the Anti-Woke
Who would have thought a story written from a liberal stance 30+ years ago would be the poster-child for anti-woke today. Just change the name (and only the name) of the "ultra religious conservative authoritative government' to the modern "ultra woke leftist authoritative government" and leave EVERYTHING else the same (actions, plot, society, outcome) and it's a highly accurate representation of modern anti-woke.

Great action movie
This is a great action sci-fi movie made before all the studios decided to go super woke. Some of the special effects are somewhat dated, but it is well made up for with the great performances provided by the cast.
