Excellent Animated Film With Some Incidental Woke Elements
This movie is low key woke in casting only. While not in your face and preachy it is absolutly there in the background. Out of the three main
characters only 1 is voiced by a white actor and he's the helpless gosling. The other 2 are Spanish and Black. All of the helper robots are female voiced as is the retrieval robot. Only the big bulky dumb security robots are male voiced. That I can remember there are only 2-3 scenes lasting only 2-3 seconds with human characters in them but it appeared they were almost all if not all female and mostly black. That being said these are minor things and in no way distract from how good this movie is but they should be noted. The animation and lighting is amazing the voice acting is all spot on and the story is great if a little sappy at times. Overall this is an incredible animated film and one of the better ones I've seen in some time.

Standard Zombie Film With Incompetent Main Character
Nothing really woke. The acting and FX are pretty good. The story is very cliche and nothing new but it is all done very well and there is
good bit of action. As zombie apocalypse films go it's decent and worth a watch. The biggest problem is the main character. He is another one
of these too stupid too live types that should of died many times over. He makes every bad decision and keeps doing stupid things yet somehow manages to survive by sheer dumb luck or someone else saving him. He never learns anything or adapts to the horrors around him. Then for the finale just suddenly turns into Rambo. It's still worth a watch if you like zombie or apocalypses type movies.

What the heck
Season 1 and 3 are a bit on the woke side, and season 2 is a leftist infomercial. If you watch 1 and 3 it may be watchable for some, but skip 2. It isn't all that needed since the writers had to be inconsistent to force that crap in. It may even help the story a bit to skip it.

Do you love girl bosses?
This is a pretty good show if you can stomach the 3rd wave feminist trope of gender role reversal where the masculine women do not bow to men even in the 1870s on the frontier.
Women being physically weaker than men, would have been treated as inferior back in a time and environment where one had to live by one's might or become a victim.
But the woke writers of this show are trying to drag out the fantasy as long as they can until it becomes unfashionable, which will be sometime in 2025.

Decent Godzilla Film with Some Shoddy CG
No woke. An average Godzilla entry. The story is ok I guess for one of these. The acting is decent. There is a lot of action but unfortunately the monster villain only really shows up in the final 30 minutes. The rest of it is Godzilla and the humans vs a terrible looking CG ufo. The fx are a problem with this one. On one hand the Godzilla suit looks great. All the scenes involving practical fx and miniatures look very good. However the ufo and anything with CG looks terrible. Some of the explosions for some reason are done in CG and some in practical and it's painfully obvious. Overall I would still say this a completely watchable Godzilla film.

Cheesy Silly Kids Movie
Elita one is an unlikable girl boss all the way. While Hemsworth does a good job sounding like Optimus should the actor playing Megatron
just sounds like himself reading a script. Nothing like the Megatron voice at all meaning he was most likely a DEI hire. The voice acing in general is hit or miss and the animation is decent but the story is nonsense. It's a silly slapstick kids movie that pays little attention to actual Transformers lore. Kids might like it but adults looking for a good transformers film should look elsewhere

Unwatchable Trash
Full of unlikable girl boss types who all take center stage. The males are secondary and background characters. The acting is pretty bad
all around but especially by Cate Blanchett. This should have been rated R not PG-13 and is nothing like the games. Cate is way to old
to play that part. The story sucks, the action sucks, the jokes and dialog are terrible. This is a good candidate for worst video game adaptation ever.

Pretty Good Godzilla Film
Nothing woke. A huge step up from the previous entry. The acting is good the story is still a bit silly but it does continue on from the last one and makes sense within the universe. The fx are generally very well done though there are some noticeably bad scenes as well. The monster fights are fantastic and the sets look great and there is a lot of action in this one.
The monster suits are generally good and interact well with each other and the environments. One of the better ones of the series in my opinion.

Woke and ruined - Avoid!
I've read most of the books and binged the original series. This is a terrible let down. There's a lot of Homosexual agenda. The straight, white guys are evil and incompetent. An entitled rich, white young man wants a rifle that will show up his buddy because he has to outdo him. Dexter recommends a Remington 700, which is available in some very powerful calibers including 300 Win Mag. The guy wants "that one." being a black assault AR15. That's a .223 with less than 1/3 the power of the Model 700. Dexter says something like "that's more power than you need for deer hunting." This dumpster fire of a sequel has much woke agenda on all fronts. Avoid.

Follows the books in spirit, mostly.
Possible spoilers...
The casting is incredibly close to the books. That is, except for Deb. In the book, she was aware of what Dexter was up to before the story line began. She was also a tenacious, reckless driving, detective who was accused of getting promotions due to her full-figure beauty. That doesn't describe Jennifer Carpenter. In the book, the Dark Passenger was a sentient, etheric being who basically possessed Dexter.
The series:
The TV series is addictive. It's as bingeable as a show can get. I believe it's the interactive narration provided by Hall that makes it so entertaining. If you like bad guys with moral codes that you find yourself cheering for, this is for you.

Successful action flick, failed critique of conservatism
As action sci-fi, this works great.
As the devastating denunciation of the dangers of conservatism, which director Verhoeven intended, well, it's the usual leftist fail.
Mostly because Verhoeven is quite ignorant of European history. To his defense, he had been a European for barely 6 decades at the time of shooting.
Of course, as intended, I don't agree with the overly fascistic rhetoric and the obvious Nazi imagery.
And then I remember, Mussolini had been a top-dog Italian Socialist before he went off and founded his own party, and the Waffen-SS were literally the armed branch of the National Health bureaucracy of Germany's National Sozialismus.
So, prescriptive collectivism is the opposite of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Socialism bad? Not quite what Verhoeven intended to say, but what he ended up saying anyway. Pretty much like Showgirls denounced female exploitation by means of round-the-clock naked smokeshows...

The beginning is actually good...
...but that's pretty much it. It fools you into thinking this is actually a decent Die Hard clone for the first 20 minutes or so. The main character is ok, Jason Bateman as the villain is fantastic, Dean Norris is always a pleasure to watch, and the story is your typical Die Hard / Speed wannabe, no problem there.
But it is Netflix, and we all know what that means: of course it HAS to have forced DEI, a man saying "my husband!", a butch black woman making the cringiest face expressions and walking ever, another woman who is clearly more calm and focused than the main character, and another gay man doing something heroic out of nowhere. Not to mention the obvious female politician involved in the story.
If that weren't enough, the script becomes very stupid very fast, with lots of cringy moments (like the car scene, one of the cringiest scenes I've ever watched in my life), lazy writing moments, and situations that are just unnecessary or make no sense at all.
Honestly, at this point, I will just start avoiding everything Netflix releases from now on. I'm so tired of this crap.
