Surprisingly Good
I didn't notice anything woke. Very interesting story that seems to keep very close to the true one. I was surprised I actually enjoyed it. The acting is great and the period is well represented. I originally thought that Travers being such a horrible person was going to turn into annoying smarmy girl boss feminism but there are many hours of tapes of the actual meetings and conversation and it turns out she was just an awful miserable person to everyone around her. I thought is was funny and well worth a watch.

Decent Movie
I thought the movie was pretty good. I guess I'm not sure why it would be considered woke other than because the majority of the characters are black. Yes, the black lead is the hero, and the white male was a bit of a puppy dog following her around. But he was a good, decent person who audiences will like. Slight wokeness simply for the fact that the cast was mostly "diverse", but there wasn't any preaching or lessons, or any normalizing of certain lifestyles.

Terrible Nonsensical Writing.
Some DEI background characters and 1 main character. Mixed race couple. Both males are villains or incapable/lesser characters. The acting
is ok except for the older female character. She's not very good. The CG is so-so. The story is complete nonsense and the writing is awful. Nothing makes sense here when any thought is put into it.
Spoilers-
The one character says he's been trapped there for over 8 months. He's shown trapping
1 bird. The are able to start fires somehow to cook it but how are you sustaining enough food? No wildlife is shown. No water source at all
appears to be present for drinking. What about bathing? They don't look anywhere near rough enough for no bathing. What about toilet?
No change of clothes or the ability to wash them. They should be in terrible shape. They state the rules one so which is don't turn your
back to the window. They immediately and repeatedly do so. They somehow magically have a long rope strong enough to support a person. How did this place get built with all the materials in the middle of nowhere? How is the generator still working and with fuel without
maintenance and refills after 20 years? Why did the creature need help escaping when she was there from the beginning and would of known
the path and location of the means to escape? Why was Daniels hair so short and no facial growth if it's been eight months. The writing is abysmal nonsense.

Excellent If a Bit Over The Top
I didn't notice any woke. The female character was not the usual feminist and the black characters were not out of place as the film takes place in Africa. Great acting and FX. The story is close the real one though way over the top. The humor works and the action scenes are well done. It's more of a Kingsman exaggerated type movie but I enjoyed it for what it was.

A great compliment to the movie itself.
If you want to enjoy The Godfather even more, watch this miniseries first. The movie is even more watchable when you know what it took to make.

It's the standard by which I judge all movies
There's a reason that this movie sits so high on every "greatest movie" list. Actually, a lot of reasons. It's a story about a good-hearted man being placed in a situation that compels him to abandon his resolve and follow the path in life he was trying to avoid. Every time I re-watch this movie, I keep trying to find that one place in Michael's journey where I would've done something differently to avoid the path to corruption. I haven't found it yet. The story behind the making of this movie makes it even more watchable. The Offer is a miniseries about the making of The Godfather. I highly recommend that.

For the kids.
Not woke. It is, however, kind of boring. It's one of those movies that have all the good parts in the trailers. There's no apparent agenda. The language and subject matter are clean. It's for kids. I recommend it accordingly.

Cute!
There are plenty of woke elements, but none of them (for me) take away from the effective story and likeable characters. The movie is sweet, charming, and fun to watch.

I recommend this.
This movie would appeal to anyone who likes John Wick, Nobody, The Accountant, The Foreigner, etc. That means I love it. It's on my re-watch list. There's some very clever production with Mel Gibson being an entirely remote character. Don't look for too much realism. I did mention John Wick. Just enjoy the very interesting story with top notch acting.

Contains satire of woke
I think this movie would've been offensive to me if I were woke. It treated wokeness with a feel of ridicule. Other than that, it's Ryan Reynolds. Enjoy it. It's not as good as the first one but, that's typical.

Disappointing
I have recently become a huge Glen Powell fan and I was so excited to watch a fun romcom. But the script is HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible. I physically cringed multiple times and had to pause the movie to let the ick fade before starting it again. There's no way in the world I'll ever watch this movie again.
Lots of woke themes, but plenty of other people have touched on that already. At least nothing felt rude or hateful besides one T-shirt worn by one of the women which read "ego of a straight white male". Gross.
But for the most part everybody was treated the same, so I wasn't too annoyed.
If only the script had been passable... But it's one of the worst romcom scripts I've ever watched.

If you like writers who mock God, demonize the wealthy, treat sex like it's nothing
patricktowson16 says:
Rabbit/Hole started off great, the pilot clued me into a classic political thriller a la Tom Clancy. It started strong, however, as the series progressed, it became increasingly evident that the show was poorly executed and ultimately uninteresting. I like Kiefer Sutherland and Charles Dance, but frankly neither are at their best here.
The characters were poorly developed, and the acting was lackluster, making it hard for me to emotionally invest in the story. Furthermore, the show was plagued with hamfisted contemporary politicking that only served to remind me that the writer's room was full of people with nothing but distaste for the very people that would like this kind of show. The writers seemed more interested in surreptitiously promoting a political agenda and using as many contemporary buzzwords as possible than delivering a captivating and exciting story.
Rabbit Hole had an excellent premise, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver. The show was poorly executed, uninteresting, and preachy. Viewers who were hoping for an exciting espionage thriller will undoubtedly be disappointed with the series. While the show had its moments, it ultimately fell short of the mark, and I cannot recommend it to fans of the genre. At the time of this review I have seen the first 5 episodes, and I will not be finishing the series. If you want the kind of show that Rabbit/Hole appears at first glance to be, I recommend The Terminal List or The Night Agent.
