A lot of fun
No Woke

Is the novel the standard? If so, it missed some important points.
Part one was reasonably well done with the blatant and unnecessary substitution of Dr. Kynes. After all, the original story has women controlling the political and social structures through the Bene Gesserit order. Also, the Fremen women are just as vicious fighters as their men. in the book. Part Two has a more troubling change. Chani isn't the devoted supporter of Paul that the novel portrayed. The novel has Chani gladly accepting her role as Paul's consort while he's married, in name only, to the Emperor's daughter. This movie has Paul intentionally leaving her behind to fulfill his role as Kwisatz Haderach and Chani growing more bitter. The movie ends with the implication of some major conflict between Paul and Chani. The movie also left out the characters of Paul and Chani's son as well as Jessica's daughter. That changed things. I'm not impressed.

This is NOT Evil Dead
This is a woke generic possession movie NOT Evil Dead. Mostly female cast with 1 white male for about 30 seconds at the beginning who is a complete moron. The teenage male Danny character is played by a trans woman pretending to be male. It is instantly noticeable and unconvincing. The daughter is an annoying woke loudmouth with a butch haircut. The only 2 other male characters barely get any screen time and are completely useless and ineffectual. There is a large sign on a door that says 'feminism is not a dirty word'. This could be any
possession movie and is just attempting to cash in on the Evil Dead name. It's not scary, the story makes no sense, the characters act like morons and are annoying. The acting is really pretty bad by almost everyone. The only one who seems to be any good is the actress playing the Beth character. This is a disgrace to Evil Dead.

Not bad, not woke
I think I am more forgiving on movies that are not woke. I enjoyed the film and feel it is worth a watch. None of the crap you typically see in today’s movies. If you like this type of movie, I think you will like this one.

Getting a little political
No need to inject environmental topics in an otherwise fun show that did not see a need for it in the movies and season one, and was much better for it.

Why?
Why would Sir Patrick Steward go along with this abomination of a show? He is constantly put down and is treated as a traitor. I loved TNG, they had woke ideas but didn't force them down your throat.
They could have let "Picard" keep his legacy instead of tarnishing it with this woke garbage. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach.

Should Have Stopped at Three
Po is being pushed aside to make room for the new dragon warrior, a female who is amazing at everything, just because. The first time they fight she completely humiliates him and is revealed later she let him beat her. Po even though this is the fourth movie now really doesn't do that much its more of the Zhen show. Po's two dads feature prominently here and is repeated many times as 'two dads' almost to imply something. It's never said but still. Zhen is a thief and a criminal
here but is supposed to be the future dragon warrior? The new villain The Chameleon is voiced by a female POC and is very tiny and again is a villain because nobody would teach her kung-fu because she's too small, so she's not really bad just a victim. In a franchise where there's been a snake and even insects before as kung fu masters this makes no sense whatsoever. It's not the worst but nowhere near the quality of the original three. Most of the voice cast from the others isn't even
present here. Best to pretend this one didn't happen and watch the original trilogy again.

Was Great Until Season 8 or 9.
The first couple of seasons were not woke at all, Stan (main character) is a CIA agent and Ronald Reagan republican. Stan loves guns, his family, and of course America!
Once the show progresses he becomes a stereotypical white male on tv. He is an idiot and someone the family and other characters use as a punching bag.

Great Show.
There is a cross dresser, but the show doesn't overplay it or get to the point that it's obnoxious, as many shows do today. It was made before the woke mind virus took over.
Many action packed scenes, one of my top 5 favorite shows of all time.

Woke from the start.
There are several reviews here that point out the woke-ness, so I wont ramble on about it. But I'm disturbed by how many reviews have overlooked the woke in this film. How can you not see it? Do you actually even understand what your looking for? or what WOKE Means?
Be Wary of whos reviews your reading.

Well-made, subtle, (almost fully) based movie with some DIE casting
Some DIE casting that can be forgiven due to the film’s exposing of the emotional violence a woman can direct at a man by employing the #MeToo movement’s tropes. A good case study in weaponization of one’s alleged victimhood.
Additionally, the overall message is based: to call a weak male to bravery and to realizing his true potential.
Also has subtle commentary on censorship, which I find based.
DIE elements:
A cringe-worthy DIE character in power position as the principal, and a weak white male that whines in front of her.
Two supporting characters representing body positivity but there is no lecturing on it. They are believable and do not feel forced.

Unentertaining feminist lecture with a body-positive strong female lead, a weak male lead, subverted male role models, and a cheap scenario
Shallow, strong female character beating tens of males with no effort, body positivity, weak male lead, white male villain (who oppressed the strong female), DIE casting, diverse characters in (non-villainous) power positions…it’s all there.
— START (MILD) SPOILERS —
There is even a clumsy subliminal propaganda scene where the strong male character disappears in the mirror, saying “you don’t need me anymore”, after which he is replaced by the reflection of the strong female character. Similarly, the strong male character is quickly replaced by his weak male counterpart in the first minutes. The strongest character is the obese female lead, who also beats the weak male lead, effectively establishing her as the most powerful character in the movie.
— END SPOILERS —
The male role models, Cavill and Cena, are used to as bait to draw the audiences to the theaters and they hardly have screen time. An honest movie poster would have them in the very back, and the strong female lead in the front together with the weak male lead.
