Great show but falls victim to wokeness
The female main character is gay, some episodes show a gay pride primary school painted in rainbow colours

An Actually Decent Film
As other have already noted, the only woke is the DEI good black priest and the white bad priest. This is a very small amount of screen time and easily looked past. Good acting and generally good FX other than some weird cheap looking VFX at the finale. Not really scary but it is a well done entertaining film.

This movie is trash. Its made for 12 year old's who have never seen a movie before. The cast is full of forced diversity too. Woke garbage.

Not as woke as you think
It's a mostly female cast, but the story makes sense as to why that is the case. The action is realistic and the story is original. Definitely worth watching!

Woke free fun
This film doesn't lean into any woke BS. There is a female assassin but its done in a realistic way. Minorities are heavily featured but not in an effort to be diverse, their inclusion is germane to the story. Great film!

Just look at the casting
Women and minorities dominate the cast. In this ridiculous movie women are capable of beating men single handedly. Wokeness aside, this movie sucks. Its a blatant cash grab trying to wring every last dollar out of a franchise that ended years ago.

80's Style Wokeness. No Problem.
Yeah. There's a heavy duty interracial couple here, but I'll forgive it. Reminds me of the few interracial couple you'll find in 80's horror movies. Not in your face. Not entirely necessary, but whatever. No other DEI shoved in your face. Just blood and guts. Thanksgiving in a fun movie full of blood and guts. I'd recommend it.

For streaming, not much woke here
I thought this movie was a Netflix-made movie, or Paramount or whatever made for streaming services. Usually, those kind of movies are excellent candidates for wokeness. I'm sure Blackberry injects a little bit of wokeness into the story, it wasn't noticeable. The story isn't too bad, if not just a little trite. If you're looking for kind of a fun watch without much of a DEI agenda, watch Blackberry.
