Accurate casting for location. Token negro. Maybe slightly effeminate and unassertive husband/male lead compared to the more assertive and dominant wife/female lead. Rounding down due to lack DIE casting, lack of woke elements/themes, and no forced interracial couple or gay character even implied.

Maximum Woke
Season 1-3 feature some woke DEI casting and comments but are generally able to be overlooked and the underlying story is rather interesting. However season 4 starts to turn up the dial and season 5 is just complete unwatchable woke garbage. The DEI casting goes all the way up to 10 with the only 1 straight white male main character left by season 5 and he is a secondary comic relief character. Every straight white male that shows up is either a villain, a bumbling idiot or a complete moron. The vast majority of characters are non white. Pretty much everyone is gay by season 5 particularly the male characters. Also by season 5 every single female character is the typical leftist version of a strong feminist, extreme anger, aggressive, constant screaming, violent and basically unhinged. These are the most vile disgusting, unlikable group of female characters ever put to screen. There is constant leftist political comments, and male and white bashing. The few male characters that are left are secondary background supporting roles. Every problem is figured out and solved by females. The writing in general by season 5 is complete garbage. It's like they jammed several seasons worth of story into 1. What seems like major plotlines are introduced and then just instantly solved or forgotten in less than one episode. The weird constant attempts at injecting pulp culture references are out of place and cringe. The first 3 seasons aren't bad but if your going to watch it's best to stop after 4.

Netflix will never get a dime from me
This movie is quite literally softcore CP and yet it is not only allowed to stay on Netflix but the platform is openly celebrating it.

Woke in a dubious and sneaky way
Perfectly fine for the first seven episodes but then BAM, in the eighth there is a scene where two gay fathers (one has to be black of course) are encouraging their son - who can't be anymore than three - to sing, dance, and wear girls clothes to become transgender. Absolutely vile. My kids will never watch this.

A moving story about friendhsip. No wokeness here.
I tend to avoid this kind of emotional drama movies, but I got to admit that this one is well written and acted. Really good overall.
I could not find any Woke elements in this movie.
