Not sure if woke, good watch
Forced interracial couple was pretty much it. Ironic since he comes off as a terrible husband. Seems like there were as many black/brown characters as white characters. Actress is Kevin Bacon's daughter who looks 16 and 61.

Token black character. Ironic the token black character is a convict since the woke left hate that. Minimal if any woke themes, otherwise not noticeable.

Mild woke, still a good watch
The other reviews are accurate. I still watched it despite the mild woke themes. It was right down the middle. Wasn't too in your face, forced down your throat, just some woke scenes here and there. Late 90s/early 2000 Marvel/Spider-Man fans will enjoy it but notice how things have changed; woke elements, more than just a token black/brown character.

Mild woke, still a good watch
Definitely see why this was controversial with the elitist/commies/deviants kidnapping and hunting the conservatives for sport. Plausible storyline given the last 5 years with the way the media, far left political wing, and big Corp have been proving conspiracy theories right.
Overall: 7.5/10
Woke: Mild, but sort of necessary for the storyline

Woke free, great watch
Great for a "Made for TV" movie. The black token characters seem forced and out of place in a town like this, but it's a movie, so that's the extent of the nitpicking.

Not woke
Pretty sure Martine is white in the comics. But since casting selected a moderately attractive actress, it was fine.

Not too woke
Besides the "ants" being socialist and socialism only working in the movies, it wasn't that woke. Kathryn Newton is a rising star, ever since Paranormal Activity 4, popping in her co-leading roles in Freaky and Det. Pikachu. Evangeline Lilly is pretty anti-woke for Hollywood, so much so, her character shuts down Michael Douglass's character when he was starting to go off on a "charged" rant.
Overall movie rated 7.5/10, not bad for woke Disney/Marvel
Wokeness level: Mild, but watchable and not indoctrinated.

Great Revenge Action Flick
That Guy Ritchie really knows how to make a movie. Really enjoyed this, it was a bit of a John Wick meets Heat meets Swat. I like the way the story unfolded.

Peach was a completely different character. I remember her more as the royal damsel in distress. In this movie she is more of a business Girl Boss type running the world. She was so amazing at all the "trials" it was a wonder why she spent the time to train up Mario in the first place. And in the end it came down to power-ups not much more.

Pretty Woke but Mildly Entertaining
This movie was mildly entertaining (if you are a fan of fantasy/D&D, etc.) and did get me to the end, but it was pretty woke. Most of the woke elements you would expect are present. White guy is the self proclaimed loser and not very useful in a D&D fantasy world. The Barbarian is a small Mexican woman who plays pretty much the same role in most movies and it's the same basic character as Valkyrie from Thor. She beats up a hundred large men and knights with ease, but not necessarily low IQ which you would expect for a fighter class. The big baddie is an ultra powerful white girl witch who can only be stopped by the UN of characters working together. Oh and she is like a ninja at the same time, not to mention she has an entire faction behind her, but they leave it all to her to handle.
