Gruesome and fun!

Obviously, don't watch this with a kid or a blood squimish friend. Won't go over well. It was so well done, that you could have removed the profanity and blood and it still would have shined. Great movie.

Read the book.

The book was better, but this was a great film translation. The director used all of the older film techniques, rather than all cgi. Gave the film a small film studio type feel. The 2nd film however, went hollywood in a big way, making this 1st film unique.

Reminds me of Little Mermaid. Have watched this multiple times. May have woke elements, but I don't remember any.

"Liked it"

Can't remember is there were any woke elements, since I watched it a bit ago. I figure since I don't recall any, then it would at worst have minimal wokeness. Humorous, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Watched it in the theater and then immediately bought the soundtrack. Haunting.

Great promise, weak ending

I liked the beginning, enjoyed the twist at the end. Script needed some fine tuning.

Enjoyable, but confusing ending.

Enjoyed the film immensely, even with the messy ending. But hey, time travel is a tough one to nail down. Very poignant/sad.

Woke elements, but I still loved the humor.

It was enjoyable for me. Wouldn't have a young child watch it with me, which defeats to purpose of the film.
