Mild but intrusive
As someone allergic to girlbossing and shows that teach that it's virtuous for women to be rude entitled twats, I wasn't able to get through more than a few episodes. It may not be a dealbreaker to those who are desensitised to this trope.

Commercial for Zoom and Facetime
Woke consists of over representation in DEI casting. The is a terrible 'movie'. The entirety of this is shot through zoom calls, live streams,
phone cams, security cams, facetime, you get the idea. The overall idea isn't bad in itself it's just horribly made. The acting and dialog is terrible. The story progression and writing is so poorly thought out and implemented. There is just no reason to watch this other
than morbid curiosity.

Another watchable entry in the franchise.
No Woke. Excellent sequel. Great acting and story. FX hold up very well, with the miniatures blending well with the surroundings.
Mothra battles are very well done with plenty of action.

Not woke. Just another vengeance flick
Typical for the genre: make the bad guys so bad that they deserve a tortuous death, put the protagonist in a no-win situation where he needs to be clever and skilled in righteous violence. Add the tension of being down by 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th with bases loaded, two outs and two strikes, and... you can guess the rest. I'm not saying it's a bad movie. It's just another John Wick, Death Wish, kind of thing. Orlando plays his part to perfection with a top-notch supporting cast.

Badly Written Angsty Drama
DEI heavy casting. Based on first episode. This is listed as horror-thriller-drama. It's really just another angsty teen drama. More 20 somethings playing high school kids. Unlikable characters. The acting is ok but the story and writing are painful. This is another one of those weird
shows where you have current kids listening to 80's and 90's music and spouting the same pop culture references. That is not how
kids today talk and act. Do a little research or spend some time around kids.

Not Bad At All
No woke. Watched the original Japanese version. The story is a ok as is most of the acting. This is a lighter more humurous version
of Godzilla. The fx are ok but the close ups on the monsters faces look strange. The two monsters only actually fight each other
in the final 10 minutes and it is unfortuanlly a bit lackluster. Still though it's a big piece of movie history and is still enjoyable.

Not As Good As The OG, But Still Watchable
No Woke. I watched the original Japanese version of the this not the butchered American one. Acting is again good and the highlight is the Godzilla Anguirus fight in Osaka. The miniatures look incredible and the destruction is well done. However the actual fight is not so great from an FX standpoint. I love how its an animalistic scratching and biting fight. But it's shot in a slightly sped up frame and it just looks weird. The story is a little strange as well, and why is everyone in such a light joking mood all the time. This is a very dark grim story, much like the original. The finale is also a letdown with Godzilla basically just standing still for the final 20 minutes while there are reused and repeated shots of jets shooting missiles into the mountainside. It's disappointing but still a
very watchable film.

A True Classic
Nothing Woke. The one that started it all holds up amazingly well. Sure the fx are obviously miniatures and a guy in a suit but it's done very well for the time and is not distracting at all. The miniature sets are very well constructed and blended in with the action. The acting is good and of course the story is tragic. An absolute classic and a must watch.

Not Bad But The Ending Brings It Down a Notch
Only woke is some DEI casting. This will appeal more to people who have taken care of elderly family members. This is very true the mindset and attitudes of some of them. It also very well acted and the humor works very well. The ending unfortunately really brings the movie down a notch. The writing and depiction of the phone scammers is so against reality and how modern scammers work it's just terrible. I won't go into spoilers but it's so ridiculous it hurts the movie overall to some degree. I was going to give it a 4 up until that ending. Still might be worth a 1 time watch despite that.

So many obvious budding gay emotions between Riley and Val. So if you don't want your kid to be exposed to middle school lesbian themes, skip this one.
