Actually Not Bad, Even if It's Unoriginal and Cliché
The 'villain' is a white male who prays and thanks God though race isn't really mentioned so this is a minor thing. There is a comment about 'white American history' in school. There is no such thing as black or white history, there is only history. This is a leftist racist idea. However it's only one comment and could be missed if your not paying attention.
One of the players is revealed to be a girl hiding by never taking off her helmet and when they find out it's somehow made to be a big deal and special. It only lasts for one scene and is never brought up again. While it is said that they are poor kids with no advantages that no one cares about race is never mentioned or hinted at so I don't see this as woke.
These are all small elements that last for a second and are gone, they could easily be missed or overlooked and are not the focus of the movie. The acting is surprisingly good. The story is of course very predictable and has not one original idea that hasn't been done before in these types of movies. It's basically a vulgar R rated Bad News Bears. Snoop is a little ridiculous in the role of an ex NFL player with his stick legs and arms but whatever it's a stupid comedy. That being said there are some funny moments and it's worth a watch if you enjoy these types of movies.
