Should be Studied Instead of Shakespeare.

In the realm of cinematic epics, there stands a beacon of storytelling mastery, a tale that transcends the mere silver screen and etches itself into the annals of cultural mythology. I speak, of course, of "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," a work that not only pays homage to J.R.R. Tolkien's magnum opus but elevates it to a cinematic saga that defies the conventions of Hollywood blockbusters.

From the rugged landscapes of Middle-earth to the exquisite attention to detail in the portrayal of characters, Peter Jackson's adaptation is a testament to reverence. As Aragorn, son of Arathorn, I witnessed firsthand the transformation of Tolkien's rich tapestry into a visual and emotional odyssey. The film doesn't merely recount a story; it immerses the audience into a world pulsating with history, lore, and an enduring battle between the forces of light and darkness.

One of the many facets that set this cinematic masterpiece apart is its unyielding commitment to the source material. Tolkien's words were not merely translated to the screen; they were embodied. Jackson's team took pains to meticulously craft the very essence of Middle-earth, from the quaint charm of the Shire to the foreboding grandeur of Mordor. The attention to detail is not a mere nod to fans; it's a proclamation of dedication to the lore that has stirred the souls of readers for decades.

The characters, my companions in the Fellowship, each brought to life with a sincerity that speaks to the respect the filmmakers held for Tolkien's creations. Frodo's burden becomes palpable, Gandalf's wisdom tangible, and the camaraderie among the Fellowship, a testament to the strength that unity begets. This is not just a quest; it's a journey of the heart, a symphony of courage, friendship, and sacrifice that resonates with audiences on a profound level.

The score, composed by Howard Shore, is a bard's melody that weaves itself into the very fabric of the film, evoking emotions that transcend the screen. From the haunting strains of the Shire's theme to the thunderous crescendos of the battles, the music isn't a mere accompaniment; it's an enchantment that binds the audience to the unfolding narrative.

What sets "The Fellowship of the Ring" apart from other Hollywood behemoths is its commitment to substance over spectacle. It isn't just about grandiose set pieces or CGI wizardry; it's about the quiet moments of introspection, the interplay of characters, and the exploration of universal themes—friendship, sacrifice, and the eternal struggle between good and evil.

In conclusion, as a fervent admirer of J.R.R. Tolkien's work and a devotee of Peter Jackson's cinematic prowess, I declare that "The Fellowship of the Ring" stands not only as a triumph of adaptation but as a paragon of what cinema can achieve when it pays homage to the essence of a tale. This film isn't a mere movie; it's a cultural touchstone, a legacy that continues to shape the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to embark on this journey into the heart of Middle-earth.

Extremely chopping, disconnected.

What a movie looks like when they chop it to bits and try to reassemble it into a cohesive movie. All female, from actors to directors. Tries to be everything, but ends up being nothing. Cats are great though.
This release and the related movie reviews really show how corrupt the whole system is. I'd really like to know what each of the reviewer Disney shills received to say that this was the "Best" marvel movie of them all?

Forced mixed-race "Adam and Eve"

Basically a story that forces 2 people to be a mixed race "Adam and eve". Story itself isn't too bad for an extreme low budget movie and had an unexpected ending. Not a movie you'll ever watch again though, it's quite boring.

Perhaps predictable but, very watchable

No woke. None. The Equalizer franchise is unrealistic but, it's fiction. Enjoy it. Denzel plays a character that's best described as a super hero type, dispensing satisfying justice to the bad guys. It's a typical vicarious storyline. We all want to make the bad guys suffer for their wrongdoing and stand up for the weak. The third installment didn't disappoint. As usual, the first in the series was the best. As far as sequels go, they did a pretty good job of following through the success without wearing out what made it so good in the first place. Definitely watchable. Enjoy.

Site invaded by mentally challenged pervs

Seems like this site was briefly invaded by a group of severely mentally challenged gays with "fantasy issues" (I really hope they are kept away from children). Best to completely disregard their sick delusional gay rantings.

2 Dads

The show introduced 2 Dads as characters in the later part of season 2 (episode 8). The show doesn't go into any story lines on that specifically, not yet anyhow but there are a few scenes across a few episodes. You can easily find more info by searching the show and adding the 'diversity' keyword. Not sure if this constitutes as woke but I want to teach my kid about Moms & Dads before they start asking about why there are 2 Dads/Moms. I reviewed this bc I would want to know.

The battle of Agincort

The battle of Agincort was epic. You might have seen another rendition in the 1989 movie "Henry V". Both films are great.

No woke.

A wee bit woke, but but only on the assassin's 'feels' front.

Action, fights, and a gaggle of assassins trying to kill each other, in a locked 'room', er 'train. The sole 'woke' aspect - could be considered 'parody' - was the supah woo-woo/neurotic lead assassin, 'Ladybug'. Fun, if silly.

Mild Woke, Amateur Film With Big Names

Woke consists of some anti male comments and almost no straight white males. Male characters are mostly secondary background characters or gay. The movie however is terrible. So many capable actors doing such a poor acting job with awful dialog and direction. The story is actually an interesting idea, just wasted on a talentless director. Who gave a $50 million dollar budget with these actors attached to a director with only one other credit being a micro budget comedy that failed. How did this even have a budget of $50 million?
