Very cool conceptual idea
I think that the concept of uploading your consciousness and possessing an impermanent body has really interesting implications not only societally but also as a method of storytelling.
I don't see any woke elements at all - in fact, because of the facts that consciousness is uploaded into a new body or "sleeve" - critical race theory (CRT) or "woke" is inherently undermined because every conscious being can experience being any race, any gender, or any myriad of human archetypes.
The idea is really cool but the execution could definitely use some help from better direction.

Minor Woke, Typical CW Quality
Some diversity casting. Villain is a white male while leader of the 'good' group is the typical 'badass' female. White male leads 'friend' is a black female setting up the obvious mixed race couple. Mediocre acting and fight sequences though the VFX are not too bad. Weak writing with plot holes and inconsistencies. Way to much unnecessary soapy relationship forced drama.

Old fashioned Coppola, no woke
A surveillance expert is driven mad by the implications of the conversation he has recorded. Since it's an old-fashioned Coppola (the original, not daddy's little girl) flick, there's no woke to be found.
No agenda casting, no feminazis, no politics, no LGBTPedos, no lectures.

Mild Woke, Not Really Horror
Established early that the female in the group is the smartest most capable best interrogator there is. Also some male bashing comments at the beginning as well. This is not really horror but a psychological look at PTSD the aftermath of war. Very slow and mostly just a group of people talking in a single room the entire movie. Acting is decent and FX are ok but the VFX are not so good. Also these people are way to old for the part. Supposedly they were in WWII and the movie takes place in 1945. All the actors are late 50's early 60's and the average soldier was 26 with the vast majority in there 20's to 30's. This should of been set 10-15 years later to make sense.

Woke casting, Network Quality
Based on the first 2 episodes only. Lots of diversity casting, rebel leader is the typical 'female badass" POC. Father makes lots of mistakes and son is a bit of an idiot while the mom is smart and the daughter is a genius. Otherwise some pretty bad acting and questionable FX even for 2011 standards. Story is very cliché and it's obvious a large part of it will focus on the usual stupid kids doing stupid things. No surprise this was cancelled after only 1 season.

Garbage, but not woke garbage
Nothing woke, but a complete piece of trash nonetheless. A bland and pointless remake with a sad pathetic knockoff version of Freddy Krueger.

Ignore the claims of “Gay Subtext”
I’ve watched this movie a number of times and still can’t understand the claims that Freddy Krueger was supposed to represent the main protagonist’s supposed “repressed homosexuality”. It’s a load of crap in my honest opinion.
People have debated for decades over this movie’s supposed “gayness” and both the writer and the director denied any such thing for years until more recently when everyone went woke and started worshipping and pandering to the LGBT community. The director still denies any gay subtext but the writer, after almost 40 years of denying it, now claims it was intentional. I don’t believe it. It sounds like virtue signaling for woke points.
The actor in the lead role is gay in real life and at times that may slip through, mostly in his screaming, but in terms of the character or movie in general there is nothing at all to suggest that the character was intended to be a closeted homosexual or much less that Freddy Krueger was meant to represent his supposed repressed homosexuality.
All that aside, pretty good movie. Not as good as the original, but nothing is.

A horror film with themes of ghetto vs rich class struggle without any overt racial or political agenda being pushed.
For some, just knowing that the hero of the film is a struggling black boy from the ghetto and the villains are crazed, rich, racist white people may lead them to believe that the film stinks of wokeness but I assure you it does not.
The villains of the film hurt EVERYBODY. White, black, male, female doesn’t matter. They represent the rich white elite who own all of the property and hold everyone else down. The kind of people who cheated their way into wealth and riches and look down on anyone who hasn’t done the same. The kind of people who in today’s world would advocate for social justice and forced racial integration in YOUR neighborhood but lock themselves away in a lily white gated community and never associate with any minorities. The kind of people who would call YOU a racist for supporting Donald Trump but refer to all blacks as “niggers” when they’re among their inner circle.
All in all, a pretty good movie. Far from Wes Craven’s best film, but a pretty crazy ride.

Not Really Woke, Just So Very Corny
So at the 1 hour mark I gave up but didn't notice anything really woke up to that point. Although there is a very heavily black cast it takes place in New Orleans which is majority black so wouldn't really call that woke. The acting is not very good. The writing and dialogue in particular are so corny and cheesy and none of the jokes are funny. Although it's PG-13 there are no scares and the whole thing is played as a slapstick comedy, it just doesn't work.

Heavy politics
Most of it tries to look documentary-ish, and is an interesting look into the rise of cultish figures. But then after a few episodes of interviews by dubious "experts" (seriously, a rando teenage podcaster?) it delves into "conservatives are all in a cult, and the Republican Party is a cult."
Yeah, if there wasn't a blatant message until then, it sure as hell ended on one.
Tread lightly, and turn it off when they start getting political.

Low Budget Badly Made Horror
Mixed race couple again with token black character, woke remarks about gender politics. Horrible acting, dialogue and FX with a generic story make this one to skip.

One of the best TV shows in the later seasons
There is mild woke as all Star Trek series have focused on casting every variety of human they can think of as the leads just because. Also they made a few characters bi/lesbian. It's annoying but the majority of relationships are between normal people so there's that.
But that is all the woke you can think of, everything else is human stories and thought provoking situations plus a fair bit of drama in the later seasons. Once you get the diversity hiring out of the way, the show and the characters they portray and their growth are simply unprecedented. It really feels like you're on a journey with them and the later seasons are just perfect. Individual episodes like The Visitor are also probably the best storytelling in TV history. It's also between black characters where the focus isn't that they're black but they're human, not vice versa which is what the current woke Left believes.
I suggest skipping Season 1 and 2 until you watch all other seasons first and then returning to it. I had great time with the show and it's my go to recommendation to all people interested in scifi and well done non-soapy drama. Only docking a point because the show takes a while to get it's footing right and it's mildly woke.
