Trans Barbie
Saw it with my wife, it was terrible, if it was just the over the top feminism it would have been bearable (yet still boring and “chick flick”.. it was really the man hate and Trans Barbie that made it unbearable to watch

Unbearably woke
I’ve seen a few episodes with my step mom.. she used to love it and the subtle Wokeness didn’t bother her much.. until the literal BLM episode.. she never went back

I just wanted to say if your a grown A** man that watches this and goes to my lil pony conventions.. not only does that make you “woke” it also means you most likely belong in a mental Institution

Went super woke
Used to love this show until a few years ago when they decided to make mac gay.. honestly if it was only that, that would have been fine.. but the whole season was about him struggling with his “identity” and coming out, and how “beautiful” (actual word said by frank) it was that he did some gay coming out dance on stage.. how society treats gays so they feel like they can’t come out and how they’re sad inside blah blah blah.. LITERALLY the whole season was fixated on Mac’s sexual preference/identity. Never went back.. ruined a great show that went from 0/5 to 5/5 all within one season..

It’s been awhile..
It’s been a few years, but I don’t remember anything being overly annoying or woke.. I don’t even remember there being a black female lead police chief replacing the white one (as the other guys review states).. and with literally EVERY character being white in the first season, one black character added doesn’t bother me.. not like they changed the persons color or gender without explaining like some woke shows do (other guy got fired or promoted or something).. this show was also pre 2016, so the only wokeism going on during then would be more black leads.. way before the LGBTQ mafia and the activism we see today (climate change, no one is illegal, wage gap, reparations, all white people BAD, etc)

Subtly woke
They throw in some jabs at republicans here and there but nothing overtly obnoxious. They also don’t idolize leftists or their agenda. Lesbian scene but they make it more weird than it is sexual.. no trans, nothing about climate change or pronouns or anything super obnoxious. I like the show, it’s weird in a good way IMO

Wife loves it, not woke
I’ve seen this with my wife, I think the new remake season went woke but all the earlier seasons are completely woke free.. but it DEFINITELY is a girl show

First few seasons are excellent
First few season are pre-2016, and therefore a 0/5 on the wokeism. Not until about season 7 or 8 that it starts seeping in subtly. Luckily I stopped watching before it got too woke, the creators realized most their viewership came from teenage girls who had a crush on the actors and started portraying toward that audience more.. clearly evident with the new 15yr old girl character who has no training or experience but magically becomes some super tactical badass monster killer.. in just a few months of training.. PLUS they made it so animals could talk.. the two together in the same episode was so cringe I stopped watching and never went back.. good thing too cuz I heard it got much worse overall and with the wokeism

Not woke
Not woke, great show. After one of the main characters dies off so does the show.. becomes dull, I get the writers wanted to base it off of historical events, but the Vikings’ real historical events toward the end of their reign was pretty “dull” and did involve a lot of in-fighting.. It would have been much cooler had they all teamed up again and ravaged Europe but they didn’t, cuz in real life they didn’t..
