Brutally honest anti-woke elements
Virtually every element of this movie is designed to be a brutally honest warning of what reality would be if woke concepts actually came to prominence. Value of human life, obsession of social media, glorification of violence, destruction of the family, over-sexualized society, existentialist escapism, human trafficking, normative gender roles, big government, etc.
This movie basically spits in the face of ALL of them.

Unnecessary Feminist, Anti-Messiah Retcon
In the actual story of Dune: Chani (played by Zendaya Coleman) is a "ride-or-die" character that stands by and supports Paul Atreides no matter what decision he makes. In the movie they made an explicit choice to change the story and the character to be against him choosing the path of the Messiah. Rather than support, she pushes and influences. This coincides with a blatant anti-messiah/anti-Christ philosophy that is the cornerstone requirement of leftist/progressivist/collectivist/WOKE ideology ("there is no such thing as exceptionalism").
This was not a required change to the story, meaning it was purposeful in order to change a fundamental point of the story that conflicted with their ideology.

Don't go in the water
No woke themes. Just typical minor character token DIE casting from Blum; the previous owners, interracial crush, doctor, nurse, and coach. Movie wasn't terrible.

Not woke
A couple of DIE casting, but minor roles. No woke themes though. Has a "Kingsman" feel to it with the silliness of some scenes. Because, spoiler alert, it is. It's apart of the Kingsman series.

Not woke
3 episodes in, no woke themes. Heavy Catholic presence not treated in a totally positive light, but may be accurate for the time.

Funny man in space
Not at all a comedy. Based on the book, but spoiler alert, don't expect the same ending. No woke themes. Seems to be set around the 70s-90s based on the technology. Not sure how many Indian's in Czech. So "Raj" was a DIE hire.

Not woke
No woke themes. Taffy is DIE casting though. Silly zoomer movie, but not terrible.

Ethnically homogenous cast, great thriller movie!
This is a great South Korean movie, emphasizing the importance of family and not letting work overshadow your relationship with loved ones! Great film, 9/10

Minor Indian diversity hire, overall great movie
The White Aryan male lead Chris Pratt character is a great role model and addition to the Jurassic franchise.

Horrible
We really wanted to like this show, but every SINGLE scene was man-hating trash. Every single male character was deplorable in one way or another, and every woman was a victim in need of empowerment.
Disgusting.

Still a good show
There are plenty of woke themes like humans ruining everything, but because it's actually relevant to the show's theme (coming back from the future to fix past mistakes) I can let it slide.
There are a few really annoying jabs made, but they rarely affect the actual plot.
One of the female characters is too tough to be realistic, but they do allow women to be vulnerable and saved by men sometimes, so at least it's relatively balanced.
What secured it as a good show to me though, was the ending. It has the best series finale I've ever seen, hands down...
Overall it's a smart, thoughtful show that's worth a watch.
