Not woke and decent but not amazing Sci Fi
It's an interesting show based on the works by Gene Roddenberry. It includes some drama so you generally have to watch it in succession from S1 to the end unlike Star Trek. The Sci fi is not as imaginative as Star Trek or Far Scape but I like the crew and the stories. Unfortunately the creators slowly deify the main character Dylan at the expense of the rest of the crew which I like just as much and it doesn't do any benefit to the show. I liked the first 3 seasons so give it a try.
As for wokeness, there is none, there is actually an anti-woke character later in the series who's black and mainly looks out for himself. I do miss dramas/tv shows that focused on stories and not virtue signalling and this is one of the last Sci Fis before the woke era.

A fairly entertaining film that contains few elements of modernity perhaps to do some ideological campaigning.

Like in most small towns...
A married couple runs the gun store. Now isn't that sweet? Their names are Fred and Brian. For extra wholesomeness, Brian is a pastor. Dexter works for them, so they get a fair bit of screentime. The straight white males in the show are almost all evil. Like in most small towns, there are environmental protests by students.
If the wokeness isn't enough to discourage you, there is the issue of the final episode. OMG, it's so bad. On IMDB, the final episode gets a 4.7, compared to 9.3 for the episode before.

Not really woke, just horrible quality Chinese propaganda
Not really woke but it's a Chinese production with 'China good virtuous and humanitarian' propaganda lies. Horrible acting and dialogue. Nonsense badly done action scenes. The whole thing looks like green screen and CGI production but really cheaply, poorly done. 70 year old Jackie Chan is just an embarrassment in this.

Biased, but not woke
Netflix documentary series about various spy missions throughout recent history. Not exactly woke - no sex, no nudity, no diversity casting, no LGBTPedos, no feminazis… but the tone is decidedly leftist and globalist. Oh, those evil right-wingers, they’ll bark through various tones at an obviously communist target. There is plenty of right-wing ringer pointing and Holy Biden in there. But is it woke? No. It’s worth the watch otherwise, with the occasional eye-roll.
I wish I could just watch a documentary without knowing who the director is voting for.

We wuz scholars and van hellsing
Ultra woke movie. The one black Oxford doctor ends up on a ship and him and some random female team up to give Dracula a double dose of diversity, and a single shot of girl power. Its a disaster of a movie and woke to its core.

Good movie
Robert McCall is white, this is a race swap. The movie is probably the worst in the trilogy but its still pretty good as the bar is really high. Nothing in your face woke other than the race swap.

Feminist tropes, race swapping and generous handicap representation.
At least a few of the characters are awash in the modern feminist tropes of bumbling, clumsy men and powerful, one punch, savior type women. The show is damn good regardless, though, because of Gary Oldman. Guess which member of in the charming mixed race couple is killed off? Bye, bye whitey. Couldn't off his mate. She's the black, physically challenged one. In season two he is race swapped by a black male agent who's rather a simp in S03. By S03, the female agents of Slough House have morphed into alpha males with tits (yes, they are disgusting). Plus there is at least one other physically challenged character, I'm assuming in lieu of LGBTQ character injection which would serve no purpose in the story. They didn't artificially force trans-characters down our throats in this one at least.

Favourite movie this year
Comming of age movie mixed with motor sports. Highly enjoyable despite having some mandatory wokeness to it: there is a female driver in the GT academy that didn't exist in real life (check pictures of 2011 class) but they couldn't pass the message women can't do it, right?
I'm ok with that, it's a nice message, I can live with some fiction in a real life storyline.
The other deciding woke element is the protagonist himself, yeah it's a true story of a black kid overcoming the odds, an nice pitch for the Investors and the opportunity to license a movie like this on the woke-age was irresistible, if not a necessity, and thanks for this wokeness we got one of the best movies this year. It may portrait Jann as a better driver than he is but the kid story is awesome on his own merits.

Male fantasies done right
This movie is the epitome of middle aged man fantasy. It tickles every ich of you uncle or divorced daddy. It's made for traditional men and it delivers it on high quality.
Ladies will also enjoy the idea her husbands may still have some testosterone left in their bodies.

Super Woke Bros
The toxic wokeness present on this movie doesn't prevent it from being very good and enjoyable but it is all over the place. It seems the American cut is most impacted by it than the Japanese version but I haven't watched that one. Mario can hardly be considered the protagonist here as he solves nothing and all male characters are silly or ridiculous. Peach is amazing of course and she needs no one to help her.
