My job didn't prepare me for this...

As a TV License inspector, my job often involves encountering a wide array of situations. One day, while conducting routine checks, I came across a household with an impressive collection of DVDs. Among them was a Sonic Underground DVD set that caught my attention. Unbeknownst to the family, some episodes contained inappropriate content featuring caricatured gay characters and a perplexing term "bardonic." Recognizing the potential impact on viewers, I advised the family about the nature of the content and the importance of mindful media consumption. This encounter highlighted the significance of staying informed about the media we engage with and reinforced my commitment to promoting responsible viewing habits within the community.

Sonic Wokerground?????

In my search for the perfect birthday gift, I stumbled upon a Sonic Underground DVD set that I thought would delight my son. As we gathered to watch the episodes on his special day, I was taken aback by unexpected scenes featuring caricatured gay characters and a puzzling term "bardonic." Bewildered and concerned, I realized the need for more cautious gift choices and decided to have open conversations with my son about media content. This mishap led us on a journey of learning and understanding, exploring the meaning of "bardonic" together and strengthening our family bond through thoughtful discussions.

A Gay Essay

Introduction:
The landscape of media and entertainment has undergone significant evolution over the years, reflecting the diversity of human experiences and relationships. One notable development is the inclusion of LGBTQ+ representation in various forms, such as television shows and cartoons. One such example is the portrayal of gay love between Sonic and Bartleby Montclair in the animated series "Sonic Underground." This essay delves into the importance of this representation, its impact on viewers, and its contribution to the broader conversation about LGBTQ+ representation in media.

I. The Context of Representation:
"Sonic Underground" is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, known for its fast-paced action and adventure. In the series, Sonic and his siblings, Sonia and Manic, embark on a journey to overthrow the tyrannical rule of Dr. Robotnik. Amid the action-packed storyline, the show subtly introduces the character of Bartleby Montclair, a suave treasure hunter, who shares an undeniable connection with Sonic. Their interactions, marked by camaraderie, trust, and a unique chemistry, suggest a deeper emotional bond.

II. Subtext and Interpretation:
While the series does not explicitly confirm a romantic relationship between Sonic and Bartleby, their relationship showcases qualities often associated with love. The subtextual hints, such as lingering gazes, shared smiles, and moments of intimacy, invite viewers to interpret their connection as more than just friendship. This subtlety respects the nuances of love and attraction, allowing viewers to relate to and invest in their relationship.

III. The Impact of Representation:
The inclusion of a gay relationship in "Sonic Underground" holds significant implications for LGBTQ+ representation in media. It acknowledges the existence of diverse forms of love and highlights the experiences of individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. Sonic and Bartleby's relationship normalizes same-sex attraction and love, challenging stereotypes and fostering empathy among viewers.

IV. Broader Conversations about Representation:
The depiction of Sonic and Bartleby's gay love in "Sonic Underground" aligns with broader discussions about LGBTQ+ representation in media. As the media landscape becomes more inclusive, the portrayal of same-sex relationships becomes a catalyst for conversations surrounding acceptance, equality, and the importance of accurate representation. By featuring characters like Sonic and Bartleby, the show contributes to breaking down barriers and promoting understanding.

V. Conclusion:
"Sonic Underground" breaks new ground by subtly introducing the possibility of a gay love story between Sonic and Bartleby Montclair. This representation holds significance in its portrayal of a genuine, emotionally rich relationship that transcends the boundaries of friendship. Through their connection, the show sends a powerful message about the universality of love, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. By acknowledging and appreciating the subtext of Sonic and Bartleby's bond, viewers contribute to a larger conversation about LGBTQ+ representation in media, thereby fostering a more inclusive and understanding society.

Brace yourselves, because not only am I an ardent follower of our blue blur, Sonic, but I'm also an avid supporter of the most electrifying ship in the series - Sonic and Bartleby! Let's dive into the reasons why this show deserves all the praise and why this ship has truly stolen my heart.

First things first, "Sonic Underground" captures the essence of adventure, family, and music like no other. The show introduces us to the legendary trio of Sonic, Sonia, and Manic, as they embark on a thrilling quest to reclaim their kingdom from the clutches of the wicked Dr. Robotnik. The action-packed episodes, clever plots, and memorable characters kept me on the edge of my seat with each viewing. But what truly sets this show apart is the infusion of music into the heart of the storyline.

Now, let's talk about the undeniable chemistry between Sonic and Bartleby. From the moment they share the screen, sparks fly! Sonic's rebellious spirit and Bartleby's intellect create a mesmerizing dynamic that's impossible to ignore. Whether they're exchanging witty banter or working together to overcome challenges, their interactions are a delight to watch. The show subtly hints at their deepening connection, leaving fans like me to ship them with all our hearts.

Bartleby, the suave and enigmatic treasure hunter, brings a refreshing energy to the series. His mysterious past, coupled with his undeniable charm, makes him the perfect foil for Sonic's carefree attitude. The way they complement each other, like two puzzle pieces fitting perfectly, is a testament to the show's brilliant writing and character development.

And oh, the musical numbers! "Sonic Underground" doesn't just serve up action and adventure – it's a full-on rock concert! Each episode features toe-tapping tunes that reflect the characters' emotions and drive the narrative forward. The way Sonic and Bartleby engage in impromptu jam sessions had my heart racing and my head banging in approval. The music becomes a bridge between them, uniting their souls in a way that words simply can't express.

In a world where friendships often evolve into something deeper, Sonic and Bartleby's connection feels genuine and natural. Their shared experiences, trust, and the way they push each other to be better make them an iconic ship that I proudly support. While the show may not overtly confirm their romantic involvement, their bond transcends the screen, leaving fans like me to cherish their unspoken connection.

In conclusion, "Sonic Underground" is a timeless gem that combines action, adventure, and the power of music in a way that captivates hearts and minds. And for me, the icing on the cake is the incredible chemistry between Sonic and Bartleby, a ship that adds an extra layer of intrigue and excitement to the show. Sonic Underground, Gay lover's included?

One evening, as I walked past my son's room, I noticed the glow of the television screen casting a soft, bluish hue across the walls. Curiosity piqued, I gently pushed the door open to find my son engrossed in an episode of Sonic Underground. A smile crept onto my face as I watched him, lost in the world of animated adventure. However, that warmth quickly turned to confusion and then to a sense of discomfort as I realized the scene that was unfolding before us.

My heart sank as I witnessed a moment between Sonic and Bartleby, characters I had always seen as friends and allies, suddenly portrayed as something more intimate. My son, unaware of my presence, was watching a scene that seemed to imply a romantic connection between them. A knot formed in my stomach, and a wave of disbelief and disappointment washed over me. I quickly turned off the television, my mind racing with thoughts of how to address this with my son. As a parent, it was my duty to guide him through the world, but I couldn't shake the unease that had settled within me at the unexpected and uncomfortable turn the show had taken even if it aroused me.

Bartleby is so fucking hot, omg my god

The gay buttsex between Sonic and Bartleby is very tastefull and incredibly hot. Definetly woke but Bartleby is just so fucking sexy (oh an´d when he smacks sonics ass, soo fucking hot, really gets me going) that I can't say you shouldn't watch it. Bartleby's beauty is so magnificant that it made me (a homophobic woman) into a gay man, would recommend.
there's also some shit about the enviornment, which I'm all for enviornmentalism and all that gay shit but it's still woke

Sure! Sonic Underground may contain some woke elements but think of the action for god's sake its Sonic! YOU grew up with it! There's amazing heartbreaking and cinematic scenes in this show that would make Tarentino cry! But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, the true star here is the electrifying romance between Sonic and Bartleby Montclair. It's like witnessing the birth of a new constellation in the Mobian sky! Every interaction, every glance, every moment they share sends sparks flying like a Chaos Emerald-powered fireworks display, you can't help but swoon as Sonic's carefree nature and Bartleby's sophisticated charm create a harmonious melody of emotions. There are plenty sex scenes in Sonic Underground and they are great for educating people! Bartleby is just so hot you can't help but keep watching!

My experience

One sunny afternoon, I walked into the living room to find my son, Alex, completely engrossed in the TV show "Sonic Underground." Sonic, the energetic blue hedgehog, was dancing with an oddly exaggerated, plump posterior, while a pixie in the background baked cakes. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the peculiar scene. I joined Alex on the couch, curious yet concerned about the content he was absorbing. I gently asked him about the show, and he excitedly explained the adventurous plot where Sonic and his siblings were on a mission to defeat a villain. As a mother, I seized the opportunity to discuss the importance of being critical about the messages media portrays. We had a meaningful conversation about distinguishing between entertainment and real-life behaviors, which prompted us to explore other shows that aligned better with our family values, fostering a deeper connection between us. I don't know if this show is right for kids... but at the same time that hedgehog had a huge butt, 10/10

It's the best anti-woke comedy on TV

People here seem upset that the show offends both the right and the left using stereotypes for each, that is exactly what makes a comedy good and the opposite of woke and dogma. In-before the woke took over most of West entertainment, people could take a joke at their expense, no side is perfect and laughing at our shortcomings means that you're not thin-skinned and you're above petty arguments and can focus on the entertainment, rather than politics which is what most people want. That is all provided the comedy is done with good intentions rather than insultingly, which is the case here.

I've watched every single episode of Family Guy, most at least twice and the show, like every show in the history of TV, it has its ups and downs. If you're new, I recommend starting with Seasons 9 - 12 and going up to whatever the current season is when you're reading this. Then go backwards from S8, there are some really good episodes but I can't force myself to watch some of the stuff from S1 or S2 more than once. Also if you're the type of person who looks for meaning in movies/TV you watch, you'll be disappointed, this is old-school mostly black humour comedy and I love it for that.

Updating this review for the newer seasons and they have got quite political and only one way, because of course they did. I suggest you watch everything up to about S16, after that the writers suffer from Trump derangement syndrome.

Started neutral, going woke now

My daughter loved watching this show until we see the fake rainbows in recent seasons. It’s obvious that they decided to groom our children with the woke message. You can see the fake rainbows in most episodes in season 7 if not all. We just finished the first episode of the new season 8 together, fake rainbows everywhere. My wife and I are very disappointed.

A Dumb Fun Movie

This movie is exactly what I was hoping for in regards to fun and dumbness. Like the first movie, the Meg 2 is a movie about dumb fun. When you go into the theater you sit there, shut off your brain and enjoy the ensuing chaos over the course of 2 hours. It is far more over the top than the first movie and that is a good thing as it is simply dumb fun. This is why I give it the max rating, story yeah could use a lot of work, and it isn't realistic but who goes to see a movie like this for realism? That's like saying someone goes to see Fast and the Furious for realistic car action.

I personally didn't see any woke propaganda in this movie, but perhaps I merely missed it. Even if there was a tiny bit that I missed I still suggest you go see it if you enjoyed the first one.
