Well-produced detective drama w/action

This original series has a very slick and well-produced format - musical underscores throughout on a jazz theme, excellent character development, believable and mostly smart dialogue, comments on or recognizes political and social issues without being preachy or overtly biased

Had me in the first half

Not bad in the first half of the season, there was some subtle wokeness, but not that bad. The second half gets extremely woke, made everything racial, one of the main characters is now gay, BLM, defund police, climate crisis… They had to hit all the branches on the woke tree.

Fun to travel back to the Matrix with this different spin. Not watchable if you didn't watch to previous 3 Matrix films.

Too woke to waste time on

While comics have always been edgy, Netflix always takes away the titillating edginess and rubs your face in its stinking shitty asshole. This series is no different. Don’t waste your time - the director cares nothing for entertainment, and everything about pushing The Narrative (tm) instead.
