No woke. Excellent animation. I watched the dubbed version and the English voice acting was actually pretty good. While it's a
perfectly good movie, this is one definitely aimed more at the younger crowd than some of the other Studio Ghibli films.

Amazing Godzilla Movie
No woke at all. The best Godzilla movie in years. Good acting, story and top notch VFX. Seems to be true to the time period after WWII. Great wartime drama mixed with giant monster action. This is not a mindless monster rampage movie but very well thought out, written and acted post war Japan movie. Highly recommended.

Woke Amateur Trash
As others have written so well the DEI and race baiting bs throughout makes this one very woke. Other reviews have covered it well so I won't waste more time on it. Ignoring the woke the movie itself is pure amateur hour horribly made nonsense. I've seen YouTube shorts more well made than this. The acting is terrible by everyone involved and every single character is awful. I hated every single one of them. The dialogue is stupid and makes no sense. No one acts and talks like these people do. Ever. The camera angles, cinematography and editing are trash. Even the music choices at the beginning are out of place and bad. It's just complete garbage and there is zero reason to watch this flaming dung heap.

Woke Teen Drama....Not Horror
A ridiculous amount of DEI on display here. Also gay and lesbian characters. This is absolutely not horror but lame teen drama with weak attempts at jump scares. The jump scares aren't even effective, they are so badly done I actually laughed out loud several times. The acting ranges from passable to downright terrible. Other than throwing some music from the 90's in nothing here actually feels like the 90's Speaking of the music, they just randomly picked anything from the 90's even
though it's clearly stated it takes place in 1994. I heard songs released all the way to 1999 in here. Then there is the statement made from one of the kids that she takes 10 grams of morphine. Really? Since .2 grams is a fatal overdose it's obvious the writers were too lazy to check that out. Then there's the fact that this is a home for terminal kids yet it
seems a lot them have sickness with a very high survival rate. Somehow all these 'terminal' kids seem to have no symptoms either. Other than them constantly telling everyone how sick they are you would never actually know it. There's a reason this was cancelled after 1 season.

Corny 90's Throwback
Not really woke though it does seem to have a political bent. Journalists are shown as honorable, truthful and trustworthy. The 2 female characters at the beginning seemed to be going the girl boss feminist route but I don't thing that was the intention, just bad writing. Also seems to imply third world dictators aren't really that bad, just manipulated by 1st world countries and rich corporations who want to exploit their resources. The movie isn't really good but it's watchable
in a 90's throwback low budget cringe kind of way. The acting is not very good all around. It's marketed as a action comedy but there isn't much action and the comedy is much more eye rolling miss than hit. The action scenes while well done are very few. The horseback riding scene in particular is laugh out loud bad, with terrible green screen and acting. Despite these problems it is still oddly watchable.

Below Average Horror Anthology Series
Overall not particularly woke though there are a couple episodes with woke elements. These include some obvious DEI and an entire episode of white man racist, minorities good and not racist. This is typical of an anthology series with mostly below average with maybe 2 really good episodes and a couple terrible ones. Not really worth a watch in my opinion.

Cliché and Unoriginal But It's Not Woke
Not really woke. You could argue maybe for some mild DEI and 1 character appears to be gay but he's frequently made fun of. No preaching about race, gender, sex or anything else. The acting is good but this movie been done many times before and not original in any way. Also not really a comedy so much as a drama with comedic elements. It's worth a
watch just don't expect anything spectacular but at least its not woke.

Just Terrible.
So the previous two reviews could both be right. I guess it depends on how you personally see the movie. I tend to see it as very woke. The Gen X fathers are shown as old out of touch problematic toxic males. They are afraid to stand up for themselves against the woke beta male feminist crowd and end up bending the knee admitting they are the problem and then change to become woke 'better' people. Staying silent and giving in makes you a coward and part of the problem. This is the worst thing you can do. The woke idiot infection needs to be called out and ridiculed and giving in does nothing but make them think they are right and make it worse. This is a terrible, awful movie.

Good Disaster Movie That Holds Up Well.
No woke. The FX are still decent for the most part. The acting is pretty good. There is some of the usual clichés and sappy cringe you would expect from 90's summer blockbusters. Still more enjoyable than most modern movies.

Typical Low Budget Asian Action
Not good. All the female characters are in positions of power or the best fighters ever. 1 example a male assassin who's been with the agency forever takes on several dozen male attackers at once and destroys them then a lone female shows up and instantly and easily destroys him. The ultimate trained assassin is a small high school girl. The acting is not great the story is cliché and the fight scenes are badly done. It's the 90's style fights where everyone stands around waiting for their turn to attack.
