Another Norwegian 'horror' movie. I wouldn't really call this horror, maybe thriller. It's very slow and even at only 77 minutes takes forever for anything much to happen. The last 20 or so minutes ramps up but it's too little too late. The acting is ok but the characters aren't very likable and it gets boring waiting for it to get interesting. There's some lite feminist moments but otherwise not really woke.

The most dangerous game type Norwegian movie set in the 70's. Low budget but surprisingly watchable. The acting is what you would expect and the weakest aspect is some problems with characters acting stupid or unrealistically at times. It's at time very brutal with good FX. Early on
I thought there was a typical angry aggressive feminist type but it turns out the movie treats her as would be realistically expected of this type of character so I don't believe there is any woke in this one.

Australian movie tagged as horror comedy but as far as I can tell it's attempting to be straight horror. There doesn't seem to be any attempts
at comedy. The acting is pretty bad and the story is a big cliché. The 80's setting is pretty well done and there's some good practical FX but that's about it. There are no scares. 2 of the leads are a lesbian couple with one of the lesbians being the main hero fighting off the evil violent rapey white men. Pretty bad overall and not worth it.

Previous review is spot on. Pretty much all the woke crap is here. I made it to 45 minutes of the first episode. First of all nothing about this
is horror. It's a slow boring family drama. The DEI representation is off the charts. The six kids this white male has are a mixed grab bag out of
the DEI soup pot. 3 of the 6 are gay or lesbian. Tons of mixed race couples. Rich people are bad, men are beta idiots and feminism runs rampant with the typical angry aggressive brilliant females. Even the good black lawyer is said to have a husband. This is not entertainment it's woke agenda driven propaganda.

Why do I keep watching these? Maybe slightly better than the last one but not by much. The same terrible writing with characters doing stupid
nonsense things. The A.I. plot device is utterly pointless and unneeded as is the 'return' of Stu. It reeks of desperation and unoriginality.
The casting for Sydney's daughter is laughable and in no world is she passable as a 17 year old (the actress is 26). Every surprise and twist
is telegraphed and obvious. The killers make no logical or narrative sense and are by far the worst in the entire series. There's the usual DEI
casting and some lite feminism but generally less woke than the previous 2. The annoying ridiculous DEI twins return from the other movies but are more minor characters here. but still attempt to hijack the movie about halfway through. If the writing wasn't so terrible it would of at least been somewhat watchable if nothing other than nostalgia.


Bad writing examples with some spoilers.....


Sydney has a clear shot at the stationary killer while he's blinded by lights and just misses several shots. The police go in and clear the house
but nobody bothers to check the attic!? Police sitting outside the house don't hear multiple gunshots from inside and just sit there. Gail showing up at the exact perfect moment in the van. The husband is a police chief but has the situational awareness and survival skills of a loaf of bread.
The entire final 30 minutes gets really stupid and continues to escalate into comedic parody by the end. There's a curfew because of the murders but not one single police patrol in the streets. The daughter has never used a gun and acts like it's a toy but than is suddenly a perfect marksman with every shot. These are probably some of the worst but there's many more.

Standard demon possession movie but shot to look like it was done in a single take. These types of single take movies are very hard to do without being tedious. They result in lots of long shots of characters walking around from room to room and one end of the house to another. For the first hour very little happens and the last 20 minutes while decent don't make up the rest of it. The acting also is just not very good and most of the time sounds like they are reading off of cards rather than talking naturally. The movie is very well shot with great atmosphere and the fx that are there near the end are well done. The actor playing the possessed however just can't pull it off and isn't very scary. I didn't see anything woke and if you really like these types of movies it's not awful but there are much better.

Based on the 1st episode only. I didn't see anything woke in the 1st episode I watched. Another poorly written streaming show from Netflix.
Huge lapses in logic and nobody acts realistically. Basically there is a fanatic religious cult who are following a phenomena where an angel
appears to people telling them when they will die and go to hell than creatures appear and kill them. Seems to have been happening for at least 7 years with photographic and video evidence yet nobody seems to be aware of it? 3 large supernatural creatures rampage through a city street in front of hundreds of witnesses and kill someone yet the police seem think it's not real and start investigating the religious group and just call it a murder. They actually say they are going to arrest and bring in the creatures. What? Why is local police handling this, where is the government or military? It seems like the series wants to be a police procedural focusing on religious extremists and just ignoring the supernatural creatures aspects. The story is largely incoherent and makes little sense. I mean it appears hell demons are appearing and killing people and the media, police and pretty much everyone just acts like it's a normal murder investigation. The acting is fairly bad from several of the characters and the CG Fx are very poor, the 'Angel' appearance is laughable bad looking. Maybe it gets better but after the first episode it just doesn't show any real promise.

I don't know how this is getting these kinds of woke scores. This is nothing more than a woke feminist power fantasy trying to pass itself off as a 'comedy'. The lead female in the beginning has her male coworker steal and take credit for her work, than steal her promotion because he's a frat bro with the lead male. It's all about female oppression and the patriarchy. All the men are over the top comically evil. The beginning has some DEI representation casting as well as the mandatory mixed race couple. Once they get on the island the female goes from awkward and bumbling to genius Mary Sue self assured survivalist and invincible wild game hunter in a single scene transition. At the same time the lead white male goes from powerful confident CEO to an emotional irrational helpless idiot. The movie goes out of it's way to constantly have the male revert to his misogynist attitude. Her physical appearance also suddenly changes from greasy haired, frumpy and dirty with imperfections all over her face to perfectly made up flawless skin and hair. The ending is even dumber, she's a completely unhinged psycho and clearly the villain but we can't have her get what she deserves in a woke movie now can we. This is complete woke feminist garbage and should be avoided at all costs.

Where's the comedy? Another not really bad movie but more of an occasionally amusing drama than comedy. The younger crowd may like this more but I was getting bored by the halfway point and it was losing my attention. The writing and acting are ok for the most part. They should of just had the movie be about the 2 main characters and dropped the weird pointless wraparound story with the 3 annoyingly bad actors. There's the usual DEI casting and early on there's an over the top played for laughs gay character for about 5 seconds.

Absolutly terrible. I only made it 30 minutes into this unfunny generic garbarge. Yet another movie that feels like it was written by A.I.
All the characters are annoying and unlikable and the dialogue is unrealistic. The jokes are tired and you can see every one of them coming 5 minutes before it happens. The group of friends are not believable at all and feel like a bunch of random people thrown together rather than a tight circle of friends, even Kevin Hart who is usually good for some laughs is D.O.A here. The DEI casting is ridiculous with white people again seemingly the minorities and it's full of casual racism and social justice comments and messaging.
