Poor French Horror with Too Much DEI
France is 85 percent white yet there seems to be an odd casting of mostly anything other than white leading to highly suspect DEI hiring. The acting is average at best. The CG spiders are poor. There isn't much horror here either, mostly drama. What little of the creatures you do see are in low lighting and the action scenes are badly shot and hard to see. Probably done on purpose in an attempt to hide the poor CG. Slow, boring and not worth it.

Wasted Potential
No woke. This had a lot of potential but turned out not so great. The acting is generally good. The problem is with the writing. Why make the 2 boys so stupid at the beginning but turn them into bad ass survivalists at the end. There are so many plot and story problems. How did they survive for 15 years without finale happening until just now? Why is one farm boarded up like fort Knox at night and constantly attacked but the other one has no boards on the windows at night and livestock
roaming around freely? What happened? What are the creatures? What do they want or what is their purpose? Not addressed at all. Speaking of the creatures...wow. They look like bad 80's horrror movie rejects. Just hilariously bad looking. It can still be stupid fun and it's not all bad. If you like post apocalypse type movie you may find it worth watching. At least it's not woke.

More Woke Modern 'Horror"
DEI casting and the usual strong, good female characters to the male bad incompetent ones. The ending is right out of the leftist girl power feminist handbook. Calling this a horror movie is a stretch. It's more like a comedy or a bad parody of vampire movies. The characters are idiots and all unlikable. They make the dumbest decisions and do the stupidest things possible. The acting is pretty bad all around but especially by the Dean character. How he ever made it on screen is incredible.
It's painfully obvious he's bombed out of his mind during this and can barely stand up in several scenes. It's almost impossible to understand anything he says as it's badly slurred and mumbled. It's like trying to make sense of a Biden speech. For those that don't know the actor OD'd and passed shortly after this. How this did well in theaters is
unbelievable and a setback for horror movies in general.

Leftist Woke Trash
A ton of DEI hires, 2 mixed race couples, white mother with a black daughter. so possibly 3. Illegals and poor people virtuous, rich people bad. Also pushed climate change and declares conservatives as deniers are evil. Obvious comments about the government being rascist by referring to 'Asian Crisis'. It's so obviously a leftist attack movie on anyone who isn't brainwashed like them. All the white children are selfish unlikable terrible people with only the adopted Spanish kid being a good person. The acting is pretty bad. The writing is stupid. This is not entertainment it's a straight up propaganda piece.

It's Nothing Original, But Decent
No woke. Decent if cliched crime, mob drama. Good acting. I don't know the true story so not sure how accurate it is but if you like crime movies this is good enough.

So, So Bad
A lot of DEI casting. White people racist, patriarchy, female victimhood, bad ass little girls standing up to boys twice their size and about 5 years older, and that's all in the first episode. One of the characters is literally a female John Conner from T2 ripoff. From the mannerisms, clothes, haircut, attitude. It's ridiculous. The acting is bad by everyone. Absolutely no 12 year old kid in 1988 acted or talked like these kids do. At no time does this ever feel like its taking place in the 80's. This is just more woke badly written and directed trash from talentless woke people.

Great Korean Post Apocalypse Movie
Nothing woke. Post apocalypse Sci-Fi Action Korean movie. Good acting and fx. If your looking for straight up bloody, gory action with no political or woke bs this is for you. Nothing groundbreaking or original, including the story and be ready for over the top action. But it is not woke and just pure entertainment.

Jump Scare PG Horror
The best friend is a total DEI hire. Her acting is terrible and she's annoying and her character really serves no purpose to the story. There is also the usual bad white man garbage. The acting is mostly good besides the DEI. The story is not really original but it's not terrible. The real problem is it's the usual PG horror. No blood or gore, no language, most of the 'horror' is lame loud noise and music jump scares. The writing is also not great with way to much of the characters doing stupid things repeatedly for no reason.

This is just another show shoving modern woke white men rasicst b.s. down your throat. White men at the mill are given
raises by the white foreman but the black one is not. Comment from 2 white men about about the leads native american children
'don't know what they are but it's not white". White male school headmaster telling the kids they need a birth certificate
or proof of residencty to go to school there. College educated highly intelligent female lead when that was very rare in
1850. Also american indian and white marriages where not common but were widely accepted at that point so it's just nonsense.
Asside from that Brody's acting is just aweful and he destroys every scene he's in which is almost all of them. It's very
slow moving and very little happens in the first or second episode and since it got cancelled and was going the obvious
woke route I saw no reason to continue.

DEI, DEI and Some More DEI
This is nothing like the comic book it's based on. There are virtually no white people anywhere especially white men. It's just more feminist and DEI casting everywhere. The lead character in the books is a white male journalist stuck in the DMZ. They removed this character completely and made the main character a black female named Zee. While there is a secondary character in the books named Zee she is white and even then is nothing like this character. The writing is terrible as can be excepted. Go read the original 72 issue comic series as it's actually very well done instead.
