Very Woke but Enjoyable if You Can Get Past That
As others have noted the token well spoken, educated, well dressed black character is completely out of place for the time period. There is a woe is me racism speech from the same character. The female character is also very much a 'girl power' unrealistic character for the time. The acting and story are good with a very creepy and disturbing atmosphere. FX are also pretty good. If you can look past the issues it is very watchable but be aware it is very woke.

Actually a Very Good Movie
Race swapped Bancroft character who is white and blonde in the comics is now Spanish. It's minor but can't be ignored. I actually enjoyed this a lot wasn't expecting to after seeing a lot of bad reviews. Good acting and a fairly accurate to the source material story. VFX are mostly well done and only occasionally look off. Reminded me a little of the original blade movies in atmosphere and filming. It really should of been rated R but it doesn't ruin the movie and is actually pretty dark for PG-13. Definitely worth a watch.

Worst of the Franchise
Girl boss and the usual hollywood 'badass girl power' nonsense. This is by far the worst one yet. Some questionable acting, subpar CGI a laughable ridiculous seen it many times before super power AI story. Long drawn out exposition of repeating the same thing over and over with bad dialogue scenes. You could play a drinking game with how many times they say 'The Entity" and be hammered by the 1 hour mark. The weak action sequences are badly shot and boring. The car chase scene is something out of an Abbott and Costello skit. What should of been a claustrophobic intense close quarters fight sequence between the two buildings is so badly filmed and edited its a complete incoherent mess. Such a huge let down from the rest of this otherwise reliable franchise.

Bad Adaptation
Woke consists of a race swapped character and a gender swapped character. There may be more but that's all I noticed. This is another poor adaptation. The back and forth non linear story doesn't work here and should of been told in a linear fashion from beginning to end. Some of the characters were just wrong, Trashcan Man and Lloyd being 2 of the worst. Flagg is underused and never really scary, Mother Abigail comes off a just a crazy nut-ball. You really don't care about any of the characters or what happens to them. Even the weak 90's mini series is better than this.

More Netflix Woke Garbage
Mixed race couple, beta husband, head of top assassin firm is a girl boss, in fact all the males are secondary betas to the alpha females. There are virtually no white males at all. Besides the woke this a terrible film. The acting is mediocre at best. Cuoco is horribly miscast in the part of a top tier assassin. There is no chemistry at all between the two leads and not believable as a married couple. There is no humor and almost no action and the little action that's here is bland and poorly done. Hard pass.

Weak Second Half Brings It Down A Lot
No woke I notice in this one. Great acting and directing. The first half is a very well done murder mystery detective story. At the halfway point if starts to fall apart though as the story takes a hard turn into a sort of convoluted paranoia, conspiracy corruption plot. The pace slows drastically and is brought down by a lot of unnecessary red herrings and loose ends. What was the point of the whole contractor paranoid nonsense that went nowhere anyway. The entire home remodel contractor story went nowhere and could of been cut out, shortened the film and nothing would of been lost. Overall not a bad movie and worth a watch just be prepared for an ending with a lot of unanswered questions and plot devices that go nowhere.

Solid Horror Movie
Only woke is a token DEI hire and the mixed race couple. The acting is mostly good with the token being the weakest actor making it more noticeable. This is a generally good teen slasher type movie with some pretty good kills and nice blood and gore. Story is nothing original but that doesn't really hamper the film as its well done and entertaining. Worth checking out.

Boring Thriller Without the Thrills
DEI hires. White father with black daughter. Female POC parole officer. Mixed race couples. Boring, bland straight to dollar bin DVD. This is listed as a crime, drama, horror. There is no horror at all in this. Acting is ok but everything else is predictable and bland. Pass.

Surprisingly Enjoyable With No Woke
No woke I noticed. I had written this one off as the reviews on most sites were pretty bad but after seeing the other review on here decided to give it a shot. I actually enjoyed this one. Acting was good all around with a decent story. It's a little slow to get started but it's never dull. Some creepy atmospheric shots and buildup with a couple good kills and gore. If your into horror this is one worth looking for.

The 80's Were So 'Problematic"
Huge amount of DEI casting. Sherriff is a short overweight Asian female. Genius black teen female invents time travel. The only person who believes her is the genius black female teens genius mother. Basically this whole movie revolves around an extremely annoying gen z woke liberal screeching about how terrible and problematic the 80's were. Literally every woke bs topic imaginable is here. It's not funny, it's not scary, it's just bad.
