No Woke

Didn't notice any woke. An average war action movie. Mostly good acting and well shot action scenes. The Pakistani soldier is way too over the top cartoony and the final shootout with him is a little laughable but otherwise a pretty good film.

Not woke

Clemens is the only thing woke, pointless token main character, especially for the location and times.

Not woke

No themes or elements. But it does appear to be pro china, especially with meiying's uncle out supermaning Jason Statham's character. 2 white characters are "evil" and forced interracial couple, although it was merely a couple second scene. A couple of carryover token characters from the original.

Great show - some "diversity"

This is one of my favourite shows of all time. I've watched it twice, every episode, and will do so again in the future. TV doesn't get any better. That having been said, just as with the entire Star Trek universe, there are some Left-leaning elements that should be noted.

First, as I have noted in my review for TNG (the New Generation), the Federation of Planets is a Utopian socialist dream where a centralized state runs your life, and there is no money or private property (the WEF globalist vision). It's a secular humanist vision for the future. Traditional religion is ridiculed, though a sort of shamanic or pantheistic spirituality and pantheism is exalted at times (esp. in the character of Chakotay).

There is definitely some "diversity" going on with a black Vulcan lieutenant, and a seemingly gay physician ("the Doctor") and a female captain, but it's done well. It's not forced on us as it would be today. Great show. This was before Star Trek was ruined a few years later.

Great show, but definitely Left-leaning

I loved this show but there were some Leftist values reflected in it. The biggest by far was the idea of a Federation of Planets and a centralized state, similar to the dream of globalists today. Also, no money or property in the future, which is the WEF vision for us. It's Utopian socialism in other words.

Beyond that, it seems to envision a future without Christianity or belief in God. The faith of the characters is secular humanism and faith in progress through technology. The show does not have we'd call wokeness today. More liberalism of the type common in the 80s or 90s.

Definitely liberal but not woke

This show was made before the woke mind virus took over the Western world. So it's not woke by any stretch, but it is definitely not conservative either. It reflects largely Democrat values of the time, including anti-war pacifism (using the Korean War to make a subtle statement on the Vietnam war). The fact that the US fought communism at the time and how bad that political ideology really is, was never shown. Now we can see how bad it is by the experiences of North Koreans: famine, despotism, gulags, torture, etc. Hawkeye makes fun of military men fighting a war he deems senseless. But it was not. It was for a good reason. Now the USA has been taken over by Marxists from within. The liberalism of the 70s paved the way for this. Nonetheless, its a good comedy and worth watching.

Like all Star Wars under Kathleen Kennedy, this is 100% woke

See Critical Drinker's review on YouTube. Star Wars has been completely ruined in the last few years by feminist tropes, Mary Jane characters, humiliating the old male characters (Han Solo and Luke Skywalker) and diversity hiring and promoting "the message." This apparently follows in the same vein. Seems that Disney owns this and has destroyed it along with everything else they've done in the last few years.

Very funny; wokeness not easily discernable

I thought this show was quite funny. When I think about it I can't discern any wokeness in it. Billie the engineer is a "person of colour" who is depicted as super-competent, but then that is balanced by Ray Mulcair, a black woman, who is depicted as super incompetent. There's really not much one could label woke here. I thought it was great comedy and also to some extent a metaphor for the senselessness that typifies much of modern life. Too bad it was cancelled.

Mixed review

I actually enjoyed this and thought it was quite funny, despite being quite extremely vulgar (it's not for everyone, that's for sure). There are serious problems with it, however. It plays into the woke agenda in several episodes, unfortunately.

There is a bit where Satan laments that fewer people are going to Hell because there's more diversity and less racism. Really? "Diversity" is just code for anti-white; it's a form of racism.

And in traditional Christian theology, those who reject God and do not repent of their sins go to Hell, not progressive Leftists. Wokeism is not morally superior, though it imagines it is. The show is confused on this point.

Probably the worst one is an episode (forget which one) where Satan kills a right-wing radio host - based on Alex Jones I think - and takes over his job. The idea being that conservatives are going to Hell, Not Leftists? Not Communists? Hitler is shown in Hell but not Stalin or Mao? It's lop-sided.

In the episode "Conceal and Gary" (S4E11) there is an offensive depiction of aborted babies as being in Hell. Any Christian knows they go instantly to Heaven. I am serious. As a Christian, I find that depiction wrong. It's a comedy show but if anyone deserves to be in Hell, it's the abortion doctors and those who promote abortion (e.g., Planned Parenthood), not the victims of it. At least they had one episode where a physician who conducts euthanasia (in a rather bloody manner) is shown as damned.

The depiction of Heaven in another episode is rather tepid: golf and baking. I didn't find that offensive, however. At least this show conveys the idea that Heaven and Hell are real, even if they are portrayed satirically. Yes, I know it's a comedy but these woke elements marred what was otherwise a funny comedy.

Probably the most stupid and inane tv show ever made

Basically a bunch of incredibly stupid, opinionated, ugly Leftist women sitting around spewing Trump Derangement Syndrome and spreading 'progressive' propaganda. Some of the crap they come up with is so outrageous they manage to provide conservative vloggers with a steady stream of cringe to critique.

A mixed review

I like this comedy a lot, despite the fact that the wokeness level is pretty high (I'd say about 80%). It's funny and clever but probably approved by GLAAD because it shows a society where families are polyamorous and men and women are all bisexual (called "clusternests"). In this society, the "New Above Ground" (S2E16). This is meant to normalize gay marriage.

The other thing that's uber-woke and actually offensive to Christians is the depiction of Jesus as a promiscuous homosexual (S3E6). I found it offensive even though I otherwise thought this tv show was funny and cleverly written. Basically, the pro-gay message is the most woke thing about Future Man. The depiction of Jesus in this way went too far. They would never dare do it Mohammed!

The poster alone tells the story

This is an LBGTQ movie. It's not a particularly good one either. It's supposed to be a serious drama. The gay part is secondary to the issue of schizophrenia in it. It's about dealing with mental illness.
