Follow up story that would have been great it not so woke
The story start with good pace following the events of the 1976 movie, but the main characters are annoying, and the bad guys are the normal caricatures of this time, white guys with power.

Best X-Men movie
Great movie, I don't remember seeing any wokeness in it.

Overall good movie
Good movie, terrible CGI, not woke at all.
The plot is interesting, haven't find any woke elements in it.
This movie tries to replicate the Spider-Man no way home sort of cameos, in a terrible way, wich doesn't make it that bad but influences my rate on this one.

Ultra-super-mega-woke
Overall a bad show, even without it's wokeness, wich only makes it worse by forcing lots of gay and lesbian couples in an overly faked way

Not woke
At least no indoctrination or elements. Just an overly diverse cast, especially when compared to the 80s version. Seems to be more and more typical with Hollywood. Token black characters left and right. At least Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, and Jason Momoa are well known actors and draws. You can't say the same about the rest which are purely DIE hires.

Pretty Good
So I didn't notice any woke but apparently if you read the books there is a gender swapped important character. There is a lot of diversity in the cast but it deals with different planets and different races so It didn't feel forced at all. This is a decent Sci-Fi film. Good fx and acting. Great cinematography. This is not really an action film though there are some good action scenes. It will seem a little slow if that's what your looking for.

Insanely Woke
Once again we have a large amount of minorities and blacks in particular in an era of Britain when there was virtually no black population. All the men are idiots or villains. Enola is a Mary Sue and can do anything. Lots of much smaller women physically overpowering and beating up on much larger men. Watson is Indian now. Moriarty is now a black woman. These no talent hacks couldn't even come up with there own villain, they had to steal an iconic one and destroy it. There is even an scene were a boy swaps close with Enola and is shown smiling and playing with her clothes, an obvious drag/trans scene. Skip this woke garbage!

Started Out Normal
Much like The Rookie of American TV, Call the Midwife started fairly normal. However, unlike The Rookie, it appears these changes were not due to pressure from woke interest groups. Oh no. Rather it feels like something far more insidious. Rather they are slow selling wokeness and especially the idea of abortion on demand by pushing it through the lens of seemingly unassuming nuns. It's like this: Nonnatus House (clever viewers understand that Nonnatus is a sneaky pun for non-natal, as in "no children being born"). They show childbirth after childbirth, and gullible viewers are supposed to gush over the children and not notice what they are indoctrinated about. But the overall picture is that the streets of Britain are literally just crawling with new babies every day, causing poverty, filth, and overcrowding. Then by about season 8, they openly say that if abortion were legal, there wouldn't be the problems of back alley abortions. Oh really. Because children sucked through straws and dumped into biohazard bins, or formerly living humans in jars, or parents dying from rusty tools isn't ever a problem. We also have the typical racial revisionism, with early 50s and 60s British streets filled with Muslims, blacks, Hindus, etc. But what is completely disgusting is how the show plays on people's feelings in order to slowly get them used to the idea that abortion is fine. I liked the series until I realized what I was watching. Then I routinely go for a snack when the show turns on.

Interesting character study
This is part character study of a well off family with many secrets they're fighting to keep buried and partly a slow boiling thriller . The first season is the most suspenseful but I found their unraveling over the course of the show pretty intriguing and not boring at all. .
There's really nothing here that should qualify as woke.
The last season did get a bit rushed as they wanted to end the show early since they'd lost permission to film in that location ..

Anything but..
This show might be as far away from woke as one can get. Brutal at times in showing some of the worst that men can be.
And close your ears if you have the slightest problem with bad language.

Blum likes his diversity hires
Not as bad as reviews made it out to be. The extent of the woke was limited to proper pronouns for a cat and diversity background characters. Also, 2 characters from the original were made black. And one was interracial. Typical for Blum
