Pha-Q woke's Reviews
Not a Good Entry For The Godzilla Franchise
No woke. This is a very silly Godzilla movie. The story is bare bones. The acting is actually pretty good but that's about it. The Godzilla suit looks silly, especially the face. The antics from JR. are childish and dumb. The fights are basic. This one can easily be passed up.

Surprisingly Good
I didn't notice anything woke. Very interesting story that seems to keep very close to the true one. I was surprised I actually enjoyed it. The acting is great and the period is well represented. I originally thought that Travers being such a horrible person was going to turn into annoying smarmy girl boss feminism but there are many hours of tapes of the actual meetings and conversation and it turns out she was just an awful miserable person to everyone around her. I thought is was funny and well worth a watch.

Terrible Nonsensical Writing.
Some DEI background characters and 1 main character. Mixed race couple. Both males are villains or incapable/lesser characters. The acting
is ok except for the older female character. She's not very good. The CG is so-so. The story is complete nonsense and the writing is awful. Nothing makes sense here when any thought is put into it.
Spoilers-
The one character says he's been trapped there for over 8 months. He's shown trapping
1 bird. The are able to start fires somehow to cook it but how are you sustaining enough food? No wildlife is shown. No water source at all
appears to be present for drinking. What about bathing? They don't look anywhere near rough enough for no bathing. What about toilet?
No change of clothes or the ability to wash them. They should be in terrible shape. They state the rules one so which is don't turn your
back to the window. They immediately and repeatedly do so. They somehow magically have a long rope strong enough to support a person. How did this place get built with all the materials in the middle of nowhere? How is the generator still working and with fuel without
maintenance and refills after 20 years? Why did the creature need help escaping when she was there from the beginning and would of known
the path and location of the means to escape? Why was Daniels hair so short and no facial growth if it's been eight months. The writing is abysmal nonsense.

Excellent If a Bit Over The Top
I didn't notice any woke. The female character was not the usual feminist and the black characters were not out of place as the film takes place in Africa. Great acting and FX. The story is close the real one though way over the top. The humor works and the action scenes are well done. It's more of a Kingsman exaggerated type movie but I enjoyed it for what it was.

Season 2 is Watchable Only For Annie Wilkes
I watched season 1 when it originally came out several year ago and remember really enjoying it and don't recall it being very woke
if at all. Season 2 however is extremely DEI heavy. The amount of diversity for a small town in Maine is absurd. Latest data has
Maine as 98 percent white. There is also a lesbian teen love interest. All white people are bad and racist while all Somali people
are good and noble. White males in particular are always bad and several female characters make blanket negative statements about
men being violent and bad. One Somali character makes a comment about a white character going full KKK when the situation referred to
has absolutely nothing to do with race. The church is of course evil. The season overall has two storylines one an origin story for
Annie Wilkes and the other a supernatural story involving the Merrill family. The Annie story is the highlight with the acting by
Caplan in general being incredible and the writing is excellent. This is the only real reason to watch the second season. The Merrill
family story is junk, the acting by most is average to poor and the writing is all over the place and makes no sense. Two episodes
in particular at the end of the season come out of left field and go full Walking Dead zombie story for no reason. The writing here
gets really poor and the Annie character feels out of place and forced into the other story for no reason. All the characters go full
Rambo gun and explosive experts with perfect marksmanship instantly. The henchmen who are told many times by the villain to 'kill anyone
who isn't us' on multiple occasions have opportunities to eliminate main character but just don't for no reason. The lesbian character
in particular serves no purpose to the season at all and could have been completely written out and changed nothing. This is another
character that should have been killed on several occasions but just isn't for no reason other than.....Lesbian. You can instantly
figure out who survives based on woke writing alone so there are no surprises at all. I would still say the season is watchable for
the great Annie Wilkes story and scenes but should have been compressed to half a season and leave out the Merrill garbage.

Not Bad.
No Woke. An improvement over Astro Monster. The acting and story are better. The limited amount of monster action is a little disappointing but
the blending of FX and miniatures is well done. There are some strange musical choices but overall a decent entry in the Godzilla movies.

More Lame PG Zoomer 'Horror'
I didn't notice any woke. The acting is ok at best. Once again this is not really a horror movie. Maybe a psychological drama? There are really only 2 actors in the majority of the film. Story is bare bones and moves at a glacial pace. This could of easily been a short film. The main character has Agoraphobia but why does she live in basically complete darkness in her apartment. She's a pro video game player whos enters a tournament to win money. Pro tournaments are always played in person at a set location, you can not play online from home, ever. The makers couldn't even be bothered to get this right. Not worth a watch even for gamers.

Silly Skippable Entry in the Godzilla Franchise
No woke. This is just not very good. The acting is ok mostly except by the actors in the monsters suits. The fights are comical this time around.
Godzilla does some weird victory dance? At one point he squares up in a boxing stance complete with foot shuffling and starts throwing 1-2
boxing punches. The movements in general are just off here and it just looks to much like actors in rubber suits. The story is also really weird.
It feels like a standard 50's/60's sci fi movie but with Godzilla shoehorned in. There is very little monster action and it's primarily in the final 20 minutes. The miniature sets don't look as good here either and aren't blended as well with the rest of the FX. This is one that can be
skipped except for the hardcore Godzilla fans.

Cliche, Bland, Unfunny and Woke
Some DEI casting, multiple mixed race couples. A main storyline throughout is a mixed race lesbian couples wedding. Anti white racist comments from a black character. The acting is ok but this suffers the same fate as most modern comedies in that it is cliché and just no funny.
The writing is bland, the story has been done a million times before and there is nothing original here at all. The dialogu is not great
and humor all misses the mark. It's not really so much bad as it is just completely mediocre.

Excellent Movie
I didn't see anything woke. This seems to be pretty close to the actual true story. His real girlfriend was Mexican so that is accurate casting. Great acting all around and very interesting story. Well written and told and actual funny humor. Well worth a watch.
