Star Trek Meets Godzilla... and It's Bad
All white people are evil villains in this and all Japanese are good and noble. Yes it is Japanese made movie but still it's a little over the top and unnecessary. This is one of the worst. The FX are just terrible even by 90's direct to video standards. The acting is bad especially by the American actors, the dialog is bad, the story makes no sense with huge inconsistencies and plot holes everywhere. Best to move along, nothing worth seeing here.

A Little Drug Out and Slow Paced
Nothing woke. Not a bad movie really but just needed to be edited down a little and the pace tightened up a bit. At 135 minutes it seems to really drag especially at the beginning. While the story is interesting and the acting good the first 20-30 minuets can be hard to follow as it jumps
around a lot and it takes to almost the 1 hour mark to really get going. Unfortunately by then I was getting bored with the slow pace. If you don't mind the very slow pace it might be interesting for you. It could help as well if you know more about Korean culture as that may make
it more interesting and less boring at the beginning.

Poor Horror Anthology Anime
Nothing woke. This is an animated Japanese anthology series. The voice acting is not so good, the animation is average at best. The stories are
very weak however. At only 25 minutes an episode and some episodes have 2 stories in that runtime it all feels so rushed and glossed over. Non of
them is really scary and most feel unfinished or like your getting only part of a story, especially the ones with only 12 min episodes.

Another Failed Horror Comedy
All white males are incompetant morons. All blacks and females are smart and capable. White female states a black male is her ex, meaning
mixed race couple. The acting is not so good, the general story idea isn't bad but as a comedy most of the humor isn't that funny. The majority of the jokes revolve around how stupid the white male characters are.

Better Than Some of The Previous Apes Movies
The big thing here seems to be the assumption that Raka is gay. I don't know where that's coming from or how you would get there. Nothing
is actually said other than the line 'he was my village'. He says this after revealing he is part of a clan of keepers for Caesar and they
were all destroyed and the 2 of them where the only ones left. This line seems to be referring to the fact they were the only ones of the clan
that were left as it is following the discussion that Noa lost his whole village. I didn't get a gay vibe at all from him. However it should
be noted that only 2 humans are really in this movie. The 'good' strong smart noble female and the 'bad' weak white male that gives in and follows the Apes. Also of note is the end reveal of the survivors underground seems to be almost entirely female. That aside I thought this was a better entry for the franchise. The CG is actually very well done as is the acting and voices. The story is a little cliché and you can kind of guess most of it but I still found it an enjoyable film.

Another Poor Godzilla Movie
No woke. This is almost worse than Godzilla 1985. The movie has no idea what it wants to be so it just throws about 4-5 different plots in
and non of them make any real sense. The acting and dialog is terrible. This feels like one of those late night trash action films that used to play on HBO or Cinemax in the 90's. The editing and music are out of place and awful. The only good thing is there is a lot more monster action than the previous movie. The suits and fx also look much better. Unfortunately the bargain bin story, acting and music just is too much to make this worth watching unless you fast forward to just see the Godzilla parts.

If You Like The Others This Is More Of The Same
Nothing woke. About on par with the rest of the franchise. If you like those you will probably like this one. Voice acting is as usual with a decent story and animation. The humor mostly worked if not always laugh out loud at least amusing. Minions again steal most of the scenes.

Maybe A One Time Watch But It Is Woke
Mixed race couple. Token black character is gay with a white partner creating a second mixed race couple. A lot of gay humor and storyline around the gay character. All of the men are screwups while the females are all competent. The acting is actually not bad and the idea is interesting. The humor though just mostly isn't all that funny, though there are some very funny moments they are few. Surprisingly the one saving grace is John Cena who has all the best lines and humorous moments. If not for his character this would be rated much lower.

Race Swapping=Very Woke-Yet Still Watchable
DEI casting. Barry's mom has been race swapped to Spanish making him half Spanish and from a mixed race parents. That is not true to the source. Iris West has been race swapped from red head and white to black creating another mixed race love interest for Barry. Race swapped Supergirl from blonde and white to dark haired Columbian actor. Supergirl also comments "we came to this planet looking for a safe place to live and they put me in a cage" could possibly be an illegal immigration comment. Also it's no surprise her acting is pretty bad as she is an obvious DEI casting. Race swapping characters for DEI is VERY woke hence the 4 rating. However other than that comment I didn't notice anything overly preachy. Iris West part is very small and Barry's mom while a major plot point actually doesn't have a lot of screen time. Supergirl as well has lesser screen time probably due to her poor acting. I actually enjoyed the movie more than I excepted to. This gets a lot of hate but the acting outside
of the DEI is not bad. The story is ok, I mean it's a comic book movie so.... There is a lot of humor and for the most part it's not bad. The
Michael Keaton easter eggs are by far the best part of the whole film. The biggest problem I had was the very hit or miss CG FX.
Some scenes looked incredible while others looked very cheap and fake. The supergirl escape fight in the snow if particular looked terrible.
Also some of the desert finale scenes where pretty bad. Still I found it an enjoyable silly comic book superhero movie despite the
woke aspects.

A Disappointing Return After 10 years
Nothing woke. The first new Godzilla movie after 10 years is disappointing. The good thing is gone are the kids and silly light humor
of the series with a welcome return to more dark serious setting. The acting is ok except by any of the non Japanese actors. The soviet and
U.S. characters are just terrible actors. The Godzilla suit looks pretty good and the actor inside does a good job. The FX are a very mixed bag however. Some look great some not so much. Particularly the miniature sets. They lack detail and just look like obvious fakes during any destructive scenes. That's another problem. This is so slow and boring. Most of the movie takes place in board rooms with
politicians talking. The Godzilla scenes are all very oddly subdued and slow as well. A lot of Godzilla just standing around doing nothing or
slowly shuffling along the streets between buildings without damaging anything around him. There is not a lot of actual destruction going on in this. Most of the Godzilla action takes place in the final 15 minutes or so and the rest is really pretty skippable. Not a good return for Godzilla.
