Complete woke trash!

The constant rewriting of history to insert feminist delusion is infurtiating! Women were never gladiators! Men are bigger, stronger and faster than women. They are better then women in ANY combat situation or ANY sport. To have a black women as a gladiator against men is pure stupidity! The original Spartacus series was fantastic! This series is complete garbage!

The Wish of Wokeness Permeated

Puss in Boots is made into more of an irresponsible hero for a few reasons that if removed, would not make the story possible.

By making him a fool, whose life is now in the balance thanks to using up his eight other lives, the writers can make Kitty Softpaws a typical aggressive feminist and “righteous” heroine. SPOILER ALERT- a main point of contention with this argument is the fact that Puss left Kitty on the marriage altar, leaving her angry and heartbroken, but then she reveals she never showed up either. So, what is the point of being angry upon reuniting if both of them neither showed up?

Second, the choice of adding an “emotional support dog” voiced by a queer man makes this a poor choice to cast and merely an excuse to add diversity. On top, adding a mentally messed up dog and presenting him as “emotionally pure” don’t mix.

Finally, while the Shrek franchise doesn’t shy from making artistic choices with fairy tale characters, presenting an impromptu crime family as sympathetic, given it is the feminist human leading them only adds a feminist rapport that is already propped up by Kitty Softpaws.

A woke modern Christmas-less action flick

It has all the looks and set pieces of a Christmas movie, but it doesn’t feel like one. More like an action film clothed in Christmas clothes.

While it is dubious as to whether to cast the Rock as the main character is not based on DEI decisions, the choice to cast Lucy Liu as MORA Director Zoe Harlow can definitely be seen as a feminist appeal casting. The character Zoe acts as a domineering mean woman boss to even those who have the option to become nice such as Chris Evans’ Jack, no matter how little it was written.

Featuring Krampus does not bring a certain festive feel to a Christmas movie and even putting a light tone on Krampus’ characterization and relationship with Santa Claus is not in line because Krampus and his “holiday” is the opposite of Christmas. It is more likely that it is a “diversity holiday inclusion”.

Sort of a R-Rated Home Alone meets die Hard

I didn't think I would like this. I was wrong. The interesting back-story on St. Nick was good. The powerful matriarch was portrayed as greedy, self-centered and thieving. The mixed race marriage was probably some form of DEI casting, but it was incidental in the story. There was a female commando kicking butt. The wise hero was a mixed-race little girl. there was no noticeable agenda in the woke elements. I gave it a half tick, rounded up for the wokeness meter.

Funny. Fans of Melissa will enjoy it the most.

It's hard for me to find enjoyment in movies that feature marriages broken up by trivial issues. I could never get through Mrs. Doubtfire for that reason. A man gets caught up with a crisis at work, misses his daughter's 8th birthday party, and his wife leaves him over it. The bad guy is a middle-aged white guy who fires a black employee with much humiliation.

The best part of the movie is Melissa McCarthy doing what she does well. The situations are forced, but humorous. Don't expect too much, but it's not bad.

I really don't know how stuff like this gets funded and released. It's like a bunch of friends took an iphone and shot a movie with virtually no
budget, then rendered in some not so special FX using a laptop and blender. The acting is not very good though some of that can probably be blamed on the bad jokes, the VFX are laughable, every joke goes on forever and the director doesn't know the meaning of subtle humor. There are some jokes that would be mildly amusing but they just don't know when to stop. Actually the whole movie feels like an SNL skit that's not really working but they decided to go ahead and stretched it out to 100 grueling minutes. I stopped around the 45 minutes mark and I could of sworn it had to be almost over. The only real woke would be maybe some DEI and the fact that out of the 3 main characters the 2 males are pretty much dumb as nails and the female is the only smart one.

Funny, clean, not the deepest plot, good rendered animation

It's predictable, but fun. There's no agenda other than the prejudice between cats and dogs. The voice acting is great. In particular, Samuel and Ricky were outstanding. There were a lot of clever gags. It's clean fun for kids with enough humor that adults will enjoy it too.

Another "root for the bad-guy" movie

The reality is, if a guy points a gun at people to take what doesn't belong to him, he's a bad guy and shouldn't be celebrated. That is, except in movies like this one.

No woke, unless you count a mixed-race marriage. I don't count that as woke unless it comes with an agenda. It's just incidental in this one.

Truth is stranger than fiction. You would have to be pedantic to find the differences between this movie and the actual events. I'm amazed at how closely they followed the true story. Leigh didn't work at the Toys'R'Us store and his makeshift room was actually in the vacant Circuit City space next door. That's not a lot of differences.

Two versions. Neither match the book.

This movie was completed, revised, then released. The revision added Kris Kristofferson in a completely different ending. This is the revised version. The original was released a few years later "Payback: Straight Up." If I remember right, Gibson clashed with the director and forced this version for original release.

Gibson recreates Porter from The Hunter (novel). He wasn't such a likeable character in the book. There's zero woke in this movie. This version has the narration by Gibson that makes it more enjoyable. It's more like the old time Noir detective films. If you like dark humor in violent situations, and six-shooters that don't need reloaded, This is great.

Interesting

The story was not horrible, but there really was no "Tournament" like the '95 movie.
The movie set design for most of the movie was rather bland as they used a lot of industrial/worksite or normal buildings that just make it feel blaa compared to the sets that were built for the '95 set. Visually, it is better , has better fights, and has more characters from the game.
This movie was still missing a few of the characters '95.
It is more serious than the '95 movie and not as much comedy as in '95 movie.

Interesting

Love that they used the music from the games in the movie and used the many catchphrases from the game.
Lots more jokes and comedy than the reboot serious.
Good set designs that look like places from the actual games.
Actually has a tournament.

One of the most retarded movies of all time

The movie is just a dumb leftist talkin' point about enviromentalism.

Oh and in the end the presidents says: "now we are guests in countries we previously called the third world", shows how anti-western the movie is.

Oh and the weather freezing your body in mere seconds? Yeah, Roland Emerich is a dumb retard.
